It's pleasantly moisturizing with good coverage and doesn't cause darkening! The color seemed quite yellow, but when applied, there's no yellow tint. The way it absorbs is especially fantastic. Since it's a hydrating product, after some time, oil starts to surface, making it extremely shiny. Instead of a healthy glow that makes your skin look good, it looks more like excess grease, which can appear a bit messy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 16, 2025
As someone with combination dehydrated skin on the T-zone and dry skin elsewhere, I prefer the light shade 21. With just a touch of powder on the T-zone, I'm quite satisfied with the overall performance! It's hydrating and doesn't cause any deep dryness, making it the most satisfying glow cushion I've purchased recently. While there's nothing particularly disappointing about how it feels on the skin, the color seems to come out a bit dark. I'd recommend going one shade lighter when purchasing. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 19, 2024
It's moisturizing and has great coverage! Perfect for combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin during the chilly winter weather. The color is a soft peachy tone, but it's not pink-based. If you're looking for a pink base, go for shade 15 Rosy. Being a glow cushion, it's slightly less adherent to the skin and doesn't have the same longevity as a matte cushion. From the Hwahae reviews: For those concerned about dead skin cells being emphasized - exfoliate and layer your skincare products carefully to avoid this issue. For creasing around the eyes and settling into wrinkles - set the eye area with powder to prevent the foundation from creasing. For visible pores or foundation settling into pores - use a primer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 23, 2024
I've always relied on NARS for my extremely dry skin, but recently I've been dealing with hyperpigmentation, so concealer has become a must. I was looking for a product that's moisturizing but also provides decent coverage, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the Hince cushion! I've lost count of how many I've gone through. As you can see in the photo, it maintains a beautiful glow for hours. There's nothing particularly bad to mention. However, since I have extremely dry skin, I'd recommend that people with similar skin types make sure to build a solid skincare base before applying this. I usually wear shade 21 with warm undertones, but for this cushion, I use shade 17. Hince's colors tend to be bright and clear, so if you prefer a lighter complexion, you'll likely be satisfied with shade 17. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 15, 2024
It's wonderfully moisturizing! Doesn't emphasize dead skin cells. Feels light when applied - definitely a summer recommendation. The coverage isn't particularly strong, which is a bit disappointing. You might need to use a concealer with it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 24, 2024
The skin finish is beautiful and I love the color. It applies with just the right amount of moisture. As time passes, it starts to clump up, especially around uneven areas, and there's a bit of pilling. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 22, 2024
Love it! I have sensitive skin, but I've never had a breakout with this. It's so moisturizing that even if I'm lazy with my skincare routine, it still absorbs well. Totally awesome! The staying power? Well, it's a glowy product, so I guess it's understandable. The puff gets clumpy pretty quickly, so it's a good idea to buy extra puffs. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 8, 2024
Creates a beautiful skin finish, keeps it moisturized, and effectively covers uneven texture It breaks down quickly, tends to separate, and clings noticeably around the sides of the nose - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 3, 2024
The Hince blue cushion felt less sticky for use in hot weather when oil production might increase. It was fine for a few hours of wear, but after using it for more than half a day, my skin reacted negatively. The Blue Hince cushion was okay, though. I suspect the ingredient ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate doesn't agree with my skin. The day after using it, my skin became blotchy with redness. I also experienced bumpy skin texture and small blemishes popping up, so I've stopped using the product. Not recommended for super sensitive skin - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinMar 24, 2024
I loved how moisturizing it was while also providing sun protection. The cushion felt similar to Espoir's, which was great. As time passed, it broke down terribly and caused severe creasing around the eyes. I've heard it pairs well with the Dasique primer.
