The pads can be split into two, making them great value for money. One side has an embossed texture while the other is smooth. In the morning, before drying your hair, I split them in two and stick them on my cheeks, forehead, and nose. After drying my hair, I gently wipe my face, leaving it feeling hydrated. Apart from the pads being a bit on the small side, there's nothing particularly disappointing about them. It's a completely water-based toner formula that you can use without any stickiness, and it splits in half easily. There's no irritation either. The pads are a bit small. The azulene ingredient is great for soothing the skin. Made with Lohas-certified pure cotton, these toner pads are gentle enough for those with sensitive skin. The embossed texture is excellent for exfoliating dead skin cells. With 81% bamboo water, it leaves the skin feeling hydrated. You can even use it as a 5-minute mask for an extra boost. It's disappointing that the tweezers don't grip the pads very well. The size of the pads is smaller compared to others, which might be a hit or miss for some users.

As a man in my late 20s with combination skin, I've tried many toner pads as I'm a big fan. This product stands out as one of the better ones I've used. Firstly, while many toner pads these days tend to be quite large, these are on the smaller side. This makes them perfect for targeting specific areas. The essence has a water-like consistency but finishes with a slightly smooth and firm feel. This gave me the impression that it adheres to the skin better. While I didn't notice significant soothing effects, these pads work great for hydration or as part of a daily skincare routine. Personally, I found the scent slightly disappointing. I also thought the cotton material was a bit rough. I bought this because the gratis item was actually the full-size product. The price was reasonable too. The pads aren't too small, they're just the right size to stick on your cheeks. That was nice. There's plenty of essence soaked into each pad, making them great for spot treatments. It's good to leave them on for about 5 minutes, then gently wipe along the grain of your skin. The disappointing part is the ingredients list. It's a bit of a letdown. I was amazed at how soaked the very first sheet was with toner! I bought a total of 4 packs during the Hwahae Week special 1+1 deal, and I'm considering getting even more. The container has a flip-top lid with a built-in compartment for the tweezers, making it very hygienic to use. The pads themselves are standard-sized with one embossed side and one regular side. While they're adequate for covering the face, those who prefer extra-large, microfiber, or gel-like pads might find these a bit lacking.
