I bought this product duty-free last year when I went to Chiang Mai. It's a real purchase I made myself. I heard that products with 'enzyme' in their name are genuine enzyme cleansers, not just starch-based ones, so that's why I decided to buy it. I purchased it because enzyme cleansers are said to be good for the skin. I found it to be gentle with minimal irritation, and I had no issues using it even for double or triple cleansing. I switched cleansers because I often get blemishes, and while I can't say this product definitely reduced them, I haven't had any new breakouts and my skin texture seems to be improving. Since it's not a single-use product, you need to make sure to close the lid immediately after use and store it properly. If your hands are too wet, the foam won't form properly. It's best to remove excess water and gently massage the product to create a lather. - ck*****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 10, 2025
Skin type: combination dehydrated skin, chin acne issues, concerned about sebum/pores Great! It lathers well and doesn't irritate my skin. By the time I'm about to finish the bottle, I feel like my skin has improved a bit. To be honest, all enzyme powder cleansers seem good to me. I think it's just a formula that works well for me. Oh, the packaging is a bit disappointing though. I opened the lid to check how much was left, but the opening shape doesn't allow you to see the remaining amount. - dr******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 23, 2024
1. It's incredibly hydrating - even without applying toner or emulsion after washing, there's absolutely no feeling of tightness. 2. It's gentle - true to its name, it's very mild. When you pour it into your hands, mix with a tiny bit of water, and massage it onto your face, you might expect some irritation from the granules, but it's surprisingly soft and non-irritating. The cleansing effectiveness is a bit disappointing... While it does remove makeup, it doesn't feel like it's cleaning thoroughly. After washing, there's residue around the nose area. It's enough that you can scrape it off with your fingernail. For those who don't wear makeup, it's an excellent general cleanser though! - ji********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 22, 2024
Recommended as a gentle first-step cleansing powder! The quantity is quite generous. Being a powder formula, it's somewhat vulnerable to moisture, but the packaging helps prevent clumping. However, it doesn't remove sunscreen or makeup at all. If you cleanse more leisurely than usual, it tends to be more effective at removing dead skin cells! - cd*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2024
The fine particles allow for gentle exfoliation of dead skin cells with minimal irritation to the skin. It also lathers up nicely. Since I use it quite generously, I find myself emptying the container rather quickly. It would be better if the opening were smaller. - si******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 25, 2024
It removes dead skin cells without irritation. Even though there are no scrub particles, it feels like it gently wipes away impurities. It doesn't give that squeaky clean feeling. It feels more like a mild acidic cleanser. It's great to use when you have flaky skin. However, be cautious about using multiple exfoliating products together as it might cause irritation. It's best to use it based on your skin's condition. - lw*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 27, 2024
Skin Type: Oily, combination dehydrated skin in winter, blemishes due to excess sebum, visible pores Occasional inflammatory acne Ingredients that work well: Niacinamide, fermented ingredients (Galactomyces), Panthenol, Squalane Ingredients to avoid: Pore-clogging ingredients (oils, stearic acid, etc.), Centella Asiatica I bought this product after much deliberation when powder cleansers were all the rage, and it works incredibly well for me! It's my absolute favorite cleanser. It's perfect as a second step cleanser after using a cleansing water for the first step. (Some reviews mention it's not strong enough for cleansing, which might be true if used as a first cleanser!) I have thick skin that develops dead skin cells quickly due to excess sebum, so I use this every evening. It's gentle enough for daily use while providing just the right amount of exfoliation. If you're looking for a mild cleansing powder, I think you'll be satisfied with this one! If I really had to pick something, maybe a slight tightness after cleansing? But it's not bothersome at all. I find using about a dime-sized amount per use is just right! When I want to exfoliate, I work up a good lather and leave it on my skin for about a minute. - sy*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 19, 2024
I love how gentle and smooth the particles are, not too rough on the skin. And the packaging is absolutely adorable - it looks just like an apple! The powder tends to accumulate and harden in the inner grooves when it comes out. The dispensing hole could be a bit more user-friendly. - ha*********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 27, 2023
First of all, I love the ingredients. I'm really enjoying using this product. There's honestly nothing I can complain about. No drawbacks whatsoever! - dh****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 18, 2023
I bought this as an entry-level enzyme powder cleanser, and I'm definitely a fan. After using it, my skin texture feels noticeably more refined and smooth. While many cleansers can be tricky to use, this one is quite convenient. So far, I haven't found anything to complain about.
