The adhesion and staying power were strong, so there was absolutely no falling off or sliding down. About an hour after application, it was fully absorbed. When I removed it, there were faint mesh marks on my face. Although these marks disappeared quickly, I'd recommend using this more for evening care rather than morning routines. The cooling effect typical of gel formulations really helped soothe my skin, and I noticed that any bumpy areas caused by heat or dryness had all settled down. Compared to gel masks in the $3-4 range, the user experience was not inferior at all. I didn't have high expectations for the quality since it's a Daiso product, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice my skin felt after use.
ConsIt's an extremely thin gel product and quite floppy, so I struggled a bit when first applying it. You might find it easier to apply if you start from the center, attaching it to your eyes and nose first, then working your way out to the edges.

It was my first time trying a gel mask, and I always disliked how regular sheet masks would drip when applying and after application, making me feel uncomfortable. This one doesn't do that, so it's great. Cooling effect: I didn't even put it in the fridge, just kept it at room temperature. After washing my face and using it, it felt refreshingly cool. I haven't been on Hwahae for a while, and I heard you need to write a review to see others, so I'm writing this. Sorry, no photos...
ConsI'm not sure if it just didn't suit my sensitive skin, but my face felt hot after using it. I even applied my usual sica cream, but eventually had to wash my face again. That's when the burning sensation finally went away... The mask comes folded in half, and it was a bit tricky to unfold and apply.

The hyaluronic acid ingredient provides decent hydration. The adherence to the skin is pretty good. I like that the gel sheet is divided into upper and lower parts, and the size was just right. After applying my regular essence and then putting on this mask, my skin seemed to improve. It's a solid, no-frills option that's easy to use.
ConsThe moisture level could be better. There's not enough essence in the packet. It can be tricky to apply the mask properly. You'll need to follow up with a moisturizer to lock in the hydration.

The experience exceeded my expectations! My T-zone tends to get hot, so I usually refrigerate my masks for a cooling effect. However, I used this one right away without chilling it, and surprisingly, it provided a pleasant coolness without any irritating ingredients like menthol or alcohol. The cooling effect lasted long, helping to soothe the heat in my T-zone. The mask adheres well, staying put even when I move around. It's packed with hydration and moisturizes effectively. After removing it, my skin feels delightfully plump and supple.
ConsInitially, it's a bit cumbersome to apply as the mask comes in two halves and you need to remove a film. Aligning it properly around the eyes can be tricky. Also, using the cooling massager is inconvenient as the sheet tends to shift.

Affordable price Hydrogel masks are usually quite pricey, so being able to get one for just a dollar is a big plus. 2. Abundant essence I was surprised by how much essence dripped out while I was unfolding the mask, removing the film, and applying it to my face. It takes a bit of time, but there's plenty of product. 3. Adheres well to skin The mask clings to the skin nicely. I had to apply it while standing up today instead of lying down, but it still stayed put. In the photo, it might look a bit loose because I applied it hastily, but after pressing it down again, it adhered completely to my skin. 4. Calms blemishes I noticed that some emerging blemishes seemed to subside a bit. In the second photo I uploaded, you can see that the redness on my right cheek has gone down.
Cons1. Not ideal for soothing sensitive skin My skin has been quite sensitive lately. I've been using vitamin masks almost daily, so I tried this for some relief, but it didn't have the same soothing effect as the mugwort mask I used before. 2. Lots of essence, but not very hydrating The hydration level is just... okay? Despite the abundance of essence, it doesn't feel particularly moisturizing.
TipInstead of applying the mask right after cleansing, I put on a light layer of toner first. It seems to enhance the moisturizing effect.
