I didn't feel an intense cooling sensation, so it might be good to use once or twice a week in summer. Still, it did help with redness.

The hydration is amazing, so I'm planning to use this as my daily mask routine in winter!

The mask was too wide horizontally, so I had to fold the edges near my ears.

But when I took it off - holy moly! The redness was completely gone. The blemishes on my chin had shrunk a bit too. And no new breakouts appeared at all.

Even though the outside felt dry, there was still tons of essence left on my skin. My face felt deeply hydrated, and the surface was as soft as if I'd applied powder. The honeycomb pattern inside the mask seems to help keep the essence from drying out.

The best part? The price! Just 1000 won! I'm heading to Daiso first thing tomorrow to stock up on boxes of these.

I have a neutral skin type that is not sensitive, and when I do my entire skincare routine, it doesn't easily come off and it's great to do it thoroughly for 30 minutes to an hour. After doing it, my skin feels smooth the next day.

• The ingredients seem to disagree with my skin, causing a tingling sensation
• When I removed it, my face felt hot and flushed

It's an extremely thin gel product and quite floppy, so I struggled a bit when first applying it. You might find it easier to apply if you start from the center, attaching it to your eyes and nose first, then working your way out to the edges.

I used this without any irritation. The adhesion and staying power were strong, so there was absolutely no falling off or sliding down. About an hour after application, it was fully absorbed. When I removed it, there were faint mesh marks on my face. Although these marks disappeared quickly, I'd recommend using this more for evening care rather than morning routines. The cooling effect typical of gel formulations really helped soothe my skin, and I noticed that any bumpy areas caused by heat or dryness had all settled down. Compared to gel masks in the $3-4 range, the user experience was not inferior at all. I didn't have high expectations for the quality since it's a Daiso product, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice my skin felt after use.

For gel masks, it's recommended to apply rich, nourishing skincare products before putting them on.

As with other masks, I applied plenty of skincare products before using this. The effects were similarly good across the board.

The amount of essence is limited. It's difficult to apply as the mask is split in half for the face. Personally, I found the mask size to be too large.

The mask clings to the skin nicely. I had to apply it while standing up today instead of lying down, but it still stayed put. In the photo, it might look a bit loose because I applied it hastily, but after pressing it down again, it adhered completely to my skin.

4. Calms blemishes
I noticed that some emerging blemishes seemed to subside a bit. In the second photo I uploaded, you can see that the redness on my right cheek has gone down.
