I usually prefer a thin and transparent base, so I've always struggled when choosing a new cushion. However, I recently discovered the Amuse Dew Power Vegan Cushion, which is currently trending on SNS. In particular, the 1.5 Warm Light shade seemed perfect for my bright skin with a yellow undertone, so I purchased it with high expectations. First Impression The packaging is really pretty. The transparent case with a minimalist design looks luxurious, and it's also convenient to carry around. Most importantly, I felt reassured knowing it's a vegan product. Texture & Coverage The formula is moisturizing and adheres closely to the skin. Just a few taps with a brush or puff provide natural-looking coverage that conceals flaws without compromising the skin's natural glow. While it doesn't perfectly cover acne scars in one layer, I can build it up without looking cakey. Shade - 1.5 Warm Light I usually wear shade 21, and the 1.5 is slightly brighter with a warm, yellow-toned undertone. It's a great match for those who don't suit pink-based foundations. It creates a radiant, healthy-looking complexion. Longevity & Finish It lasts over 8 hours without breaking down. It also doesn't transfer easily onto my mask, making it satisfactory for daily use. Even after hours, the natural-looking luminosity remains, leaving me satisfied when I check the mirror after work. Overall (★★★★★) Texture: 5/5 Coverage: 4.5/5 Longevity: 5/5 Color Satisfaction: 5/5 Value: 4.5/5 I would 100% repurchase it! I highly recommend this to those with sensitive skin, those looking for vegan products, or anyone who wants to achieve a naturally beautiful, glowing complexion. However, the T-zone area tends to become slightly oily over time, requiring touch-up makeup. - bo********Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedMay 5, 2025
I recommend this for those who use shade 21! It applies thinly and builds up naturally for a beautiful finish. Perfect for those who dislike feeling like their skin is suffocating! It's hard to say the staying power and coverage are good. The product tends to fade quickly, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're not one to touch up often or if you're in an environment where frequent touch-ups are difficult. I suggest using a setting spray with this. - ko******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 4, 2025
It's moisturizing and provides better coverage than I expected. Plus, it doesn't pill even after patting it on multiple times. I have a feeling the staying power might be a bit lacking... But it's still good overall. I always make sure to use a makeup fixer spray before applying this product. - go******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 30, 2024
The color is beautiful and doesn't separate. It's more moisturizing than a semi-matte finish, which I absolutely love. While it's not that the coverage is non-existent, it's a bit lacking for my taste. Since I prefer more coverage, I apply this after using a foundation with better coverage. - si********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDec 6, 2024
As a light summer cool tone using shade 21, I find it matches my complexion naturally. The mesh net makes it lightweight, which I love. There's a pleasant cooling effect, and the puff works in perfect harmony with the cushion. The color has a strong yellow undertone and applies a bit thick. You need to be careful with the amount you use. It feels moisturizing at first, but seems to turn matte quickly. I experienced the same with Dew Jelly before, so maybe this is typical for all Amuse products. - il*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsOct 15, 2024
Incredibly hydrating. It has more coverage than the Dew Jelly but feels more moisturizing than the Ceramic. Perfect winter cushion for dry skin. Recommended for those who prefer natural-looking coverage. Due to its moisturizing nature, it tends to pick up hair and other debris easily. The puff isn't great quality, so hair and particles get stuck in it. It leaves puff marks on the face. The coverage is minimal, mostly just evens skin tone. - ih******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessSep 28, 2024
First off, I really loved how moisturizing it was and how beautifully it applied. The staying power seemed quite above average, which wasn't bad at all. After using this cushion, my blemishes seemed to get much worse. I experienced an increase in both small bumps and hard, inflamed spots. To be honest, I'm not using it anymore. If you're prone to breakouts like me, I'd suggest reconsidering before using this product. When you layer this cushion over the Hwahae serum, it absorbs beautifully, leaving your skin hydrated. The complexion it creates is simply outstanding. - as****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 26, 2024
As someone with sensitive skin, I opted for this vegan product and I'm happy to report no adverse reactions. It absorbs well and feels light on the skin! It's a bit tricky to control the amount dispensed. The container is oversized! It doesn't seem effective at concealing pores or blemishes. If I use this alone, my skin gets oily. But when I apply it over a no-sebum sunscreen, the staying power is truly impressive! - ww****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 26, 2024
This is the ultimate cushion for combination dehydrated skin! It's perfect for seasonal changes like now, and even in summer it doesn't make you look like an oil slick. Instead, it gives you that beautiful, glowy finish! If you find matte cushions too thick and drying, I highly recommend this one! It works hard to keep your skin looking fresh. It's truly my holy grail cushion, so I can't really find any downsides! I guess the only 'con' is that it's too good? For best results, start with a thin layer of your favorite Hwahae-approved sunscreen. Then, apply the cushion evenly, and lightly dust powder only on your forehead, nose, T-zone, and smile lines. This technique gives you a gorgeous complexion and improves longevity! - ul*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 19, 2024
It applies cleanly and doesn't transfer easily to other areas! I liked that the puff doesn't absorb too much product. Not recommended for those with dry skin. I'm prone to dead skin cells on my nose, and no matter how much skincare I do, they still appear. Also, even when adjusting the amount, it can feel a bit heavy on the skin. Controlling the amount of product is essential!
