The oil formula feels like an essence. The emulsification is truly exceptional (it transforms completely into a clean, white consistency). There's no oily residue left behind. The cleansing power isn't bad (about 85-90% effective). The scent isn't particularly bothersome either. I thought this might be my holy grail... My skin had a terrible reaction! I can't believe it - there are only 7 ingredients, how could this happen? I guess I have to blame my own skin... At first, the finish felt great, but there was a slight sensation of irritation while removing it. It felt like it was stripping away even the necessary sebum layer. Sure enough, not long after cleansing, I noticed redness appearing. If only that had been the extent of it - but it got so much worse. Strangely, my skin became unbearably itchy. Allergy-like bumps, similar to mosquito bites, kept appearing and disappearing in various areas. My forehead, cheekbones, cheeks, and philtrum - it was frustratingly itchy everywhere. It seems one of the oils contains an ingredient that triggers allergies, or just doesn't agree with my skin. The next day, I woke up to what looked like dermatitis - redness and a blemish party on my face. When it comes to oils, it's not just about the number of ingredients - if it doesn't suit you, it really doesn't suit you at all. I had to take allergy medication before bed because of the itching. - hy********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMar 7, 2023
The texture has just the right consistency, so it doesn't drip and is comfortable to use when rolling. The scent is subtle, almost fragrance-free. As for cleansing effectiveness, it's suitable as a first cleanser, living up to its oil-based nature. While it can remove waterproof mascara, it's still best to use a dedicated remover for eye makeup first. I tried it on bare skin to see if it could remove blackheads, and it seemed somewhat effective. Using it with a steamed towel on the nose might enhance the results! However, the biggest advantage of this cleansing oil is undoubtedly its ingredients. It doesn't contain any PEG-based ingredients like Polysorbate 30, which are commonly used in cleansing oils, so you can use it with confidence. The price seems to be the main drawback. Since it's not widely available, you'll need to keep an eye out for discounts and coupons on the official website or Naver Store to get the best deal.
