I usually avoid black eyeliner as it makes my eyes look too intense, and brown eyeliners often have too much red undertone. But this color is perfect! It's an ashy brown without any redness, so it creates a softer look and is easy to apply. It really evens out my complexion without being too harsh. While the brush pen version of this eyeliner goes on sale frequently, it's a shame that the pencil version doesn't seem to get discounted as often. If the tip becomes blunt with use, try drawing on a piece of paper or tissue to sharpen it. This is my favorite eyeliner! I have quite fleshy eyelids and oily skin, but this liner truly doesn't smudge. It's fantastic! There are no downsides! I highly recommend this for those who find brown too warm and black too harsh and unnatural! I've already gone through three of these. It applies creamily with excellent adherence, sets quickly, and doesn't smudge easily, offering impressive longevity. While some might struggle with thicker pencils, this one is on the thinner side, making it user-friendly even for beginners. While the thin pencil makes application easy, it breaks too easily. Also, due to its creamy formula, it wears down quickly. I wish it came in a larger quantity. After years of using gel eyeliners, brush pens, and settling on the E*** bronze pencil (which was super smooth and smudge-proof but annoying to sharpen and prone to breaking), I finally decided to try this highly-reviewed product. Color: I bought the Muted Brown shade. It's like a gray with a drop of brown. I chose based on positive reviews without considering my skin tone, which was a mistake - it's hard to use without eyeshadow. This shade would be perfect for cool-toned folks. If black is too harsh and brown looks odd on you, give this a try. Smudging and Longevity: I typically apply eyeshadow generously, draw the line, and smudge it out, so I didn't notice any significant fading. However, it may smudge slightly under the eyes due to oil. Overall: It's often on sale, making it affordable. A solid, versatile choice. Highly recommended for cool-toned individuals or those who suit muted colors. As this is my first time using a dial-type liner, I found it surprisingly firm and a bit stiff, which might cause some irritation when applying. - The muted brown shade is beautiful, neither too red nor too yellow. - It has pretty good staying power. - It's not a thin eyeliner, so opinions might be divided on this. - The color is a bit darker than what's shown on the product page.

It's a beautiful brown without any redness, and I'm really enjoying using it! It breaks too easily. After using it only twice, I opened the cap and the lead snapped, shooting out. When I picked it up, it melted from the heat of my hand, deforming its shape. Aside from its poor durability, everything else seems great!
