I used this in spring and it has an oily texture. I recommend it for dry skin types. Although it doesn't contain oil, it felt a bit heavy on my skin. - hj******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 17, 2025
Absolutely loved it! I'm writing this review after finishing the whole bottle. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I don't usually like oil-based formulas, but surprisingly, this one leaves my skin feeling deeply hydrated. It's as if the oily part creates a barrier to prevent moisture loss. The texture is slightly thick, but not too heavy or too runny. I used it with great satisfaction. Highly recommended! The oil-based formula might be hit or miss for some, but as someone with oily skin, I found it wasn't too heavy, which was nice. I often used it with my facial massage device because the oil-like texture made it easy to handle and glide across the skin. - po********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedApr 4, 2025
Despite having dry skin, I've avoided oil products due to their heavy feel. However, this one is surprisingly lightweight, which I appreciate. I've been using it as a finishing touch in my routine. There's nothing to complain about. It's great for applying around the mouth and cheek areas. It's excellent for facial massages when mixed with cream. - jp*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 4, 2025
This oil applies lightly and effortlessly. When my skin feels dry, I focus on applying it around my mouth and cheeks, which really helps lock in moisture. The contents inside are clearly visible, and I have no complaints. I used it well. - wk*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 3, 2025
This is a wonderfully hydrating product that's perfect for dry seasons. The packaging is clean and attractive too. Apart from being a bit on the pricey side, there's nothing particularly disappointing about it. - mo********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 3, 2025
This oil is packed with hydration! I usually avoid oils since they tend to clog my pores, but this one absorbs well without feeling heavy. It's so moisturizing that I don't even need to apply a separate cream. Dear Klairs products seem to have great quality overall, though they're a bit on the pricier side. While I understand it's an oil, the price seems a bit steep for the amount you get. - 48******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I was worried it might be too oily, but it absorbs well and keeps my skin from getting dry, which I actually love. It seems to create a moisture barrier that helps my makeup go on smoothly and makes my skin look even better. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to try something new. - go*****Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresApr 3, 2025
The product description suggests it's great for décolleté massage, and that seems about right. It's perfect for a light massage along the jawline or neck as part of your skincare routine after showering. As for its effectiveness as an ampoule essence in terms of hydration, it was just... okay. It's better suited as a light massage product. - ks*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I have combination dehydrated skin with large pores in the T-zone and butterfly zone, and my skin tends to be sensitive. I was worried about this product since I had mixed feelings about the toner mist from the same line, but yesterday it felt surprisingly hydrating and nice. As the product name suggests 'oil', it has a slightly heavier texture, but that seems to contribute to its impressive moisturizing effect. Despite my combination dehydrated skin making me a bit cautious about heavier products this season, it didn't feel overly sticky. The dropper makes it a bit tricky to control the amount, so I find it easier to dispense some product first and then apply it separately to my forehead and cheeks. While the texture was pleasant, I experienced some minor blemishes similar to what happened with the Fundamental toner mist. Small, firm, bright pimples appeared, so I stopped using it and my skin cleared up. Interestingly though, my mom continues to use it without any issues. - ha******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresApr 3, 2025
A great alternative for those who can't use oils Despite its heavy feel, it lacks staying power
