This shampoo leaves my scalp feeling refreshed, which I love. My scalp tends to accumulate a lot of oil, but the rosemary shampoo not only smells amazing, it also gives me the sensation that it's cleansing my scalp thoroughly. The aromatic scent is an added bonus, leaving me in a great mood after each use. The price point is a bit on the higher side, which is unfortunate. Other than that, I don't have any particular complaints. - sh*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 19, 2024
Double deal at Olive Young with additional travel-size gratis. Great value for 400ml+400ml. Usually use Lush's strong-scented Daddy-O, but this shampoo has a subtle, fresh herbal scent - a nice change. Lathers well with just a small amount and feels gentle while cleansing effectively. After rinsing, it feels a bit richer than my previous shampoo, which might disappoint those with oily scalps (recommended for dry hair or if you're looking for a moisturizing shampoo). The subtle fragrance may not mask oil or scalp odor over time, so I'd suggest using hair oil, hair mist, or powder as well. - l_*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsOct 6, 2024
Advantages: Pleasant fragrance. Conveniently available at Olive Young stores for easy purchase. Disadvantages: Works well in summer, but causes flaking and dead skin cells in other seasons. No intention to repurchase. - kg*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 26, 2024
Out of all the shampoos I've used, this is the only one that's refreshing, has excellent cleansing effectiveness, and ticks all the boxes in various ways The only downside seems to be the price. It would be great if they could offer more frequent sales - yo**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 11, 2024
If you have an oily scalp and worry about greasy buildup, I wholeheartedly recommend this product! I've repurchased it so many times I've lost count - it's that good. Both the performance and ingredients are completely satisfying! The slightly high price is a drawback, and it's recommended to use only 2-3 times a week. I wouldn't really suggest it for damaged or color-treated hair. - du*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 7, 2024
1. Scent The cool rosemary fragrance is absolutely delightful. It's not your typical shampoo scent, but rather something unique that you don't often experience in shampoos. It's fantastic! The aroma has a healing quality to it, and the scent lasts impressively long. 2. Cleansing Effectiveness As someone with extremely oily skin, I tend to get a lot of buildup on my scalp. This shampoo does an excellent job of controlling excess oil. The refreshing feeling is an added bonus. If you have oily skin, this is all you need! Highly recommended. It's also great at removing dandruff, and it significantly extends the time before oil starts to build up again. 1. Price It's a bit on the pricey side if not on sale. I tend to stock up during promotions or sales. 2. Texture The shampoo is extremely thick, which makes it difficult to pump out. You need to apply quite a bit of force, which can be inconvenient. - mi*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedAug 10, 2024
Please note that this is for oily scalps. There's a perception that it's good but expensive, so I tried it during a special promotion. First off, the scent isn't harsh, giving a pleasant feeling of washing your hair with subtle tea leaves. It doesn't overstimulate the scalp and cleanses thoroughly without needing a pre-wash. It lathers well even with a small amount. The price was a concern, but it seems to be frequently discounted at Olive Young recently. However, the press cap type is a bit inconvenient, so you need to buy a pump separately. Buying the pump from the official website is like the tail wagging the dog, which feels like a hurdle. - rk*********Dry SkinRecommendedAug 8, 2024
The exfoliating effect is quite good, and it improved the flakiness I used to get after washing my hair. Since it foams up, you need to be careful not to get it in your eyes. - ma*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 28, 2024
The shampoo lathers up nicely, and its pleasant scent makes hair washing time enjoyable. I can't think of any immediate drawbacks... Perhaps the price is slightly on the higher side? - jm*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 1, 2024
