It's so easy to dye my hair with this. I keep a box on hand and use it whenever I notice gray hairs popping up. The tear-off part at the top is cut vertically, so when you tear off the corner, sometimes there's leftover product inside. It would be better if it could be designed to tear horizontally like a coffee mix packet for easier use. For the hair near your temples, after applying the dye, cover it lightly with foil or plastic wrap. This helps the color penetrate those fine baby hairs more effectively. - qh*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2025
It blends well with water without feeling watery, and applies smoothly with minimal staining on the skin. There seemed to be some slight color fading, but it's better if you wash your hair and dry it thoroughly. As time passes, the viscosity gradually increases. - 90***Combination SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 27, 2025
The dye applied evenly without any patches. It seems to work better when you add just the right amount of water. The powder doesn't mix easily, so you need to shake it vigorously. If you use too much water, the color doesn't take well. While it didn't cause any blemishes, it's on the pricier side. It's best to mix the powder with warm water. - ma*****Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 4, 2025
As a pregnant woman, I was searching for a gray hair dye with good ingredients and decided to try this. It didn't irritate my scalp and the color turned out great. Mixing can be challenging as the powder tends to clump. You need to blend it thoroughly with a brush multiple times. Be sure to mix it in the bathroom, as invisible particles may scatter during the process. - eu*********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 23, 2024
It's so gentle and doesn't irritate my scalp or hair, which I absolutely love Personally, I wish it also came in a foam version - ri****Oily SkinSep 18, 2024
The application process is simple and convenient. Just mix it with water and you're good to go. The color doesn't take well... I've only used it once so far, so I'll need to try it a few more times to be sure. - yk****Dry SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMay 18, 2024
It's so convenient - just mix the powder with water. Each packet is individually wrapped. The color doesn't take well and it damages your hair. The included treatment is ineffective too. Apply generously but don't leave it on for too long. - my****Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedMar 12, 2024
The scent is mild, which is a big plus. I have a lot of gray hair and need to dye my roots frequently. Among all the hair dyes I've tried, this one has the least noticeable smell! I didn't experience any headaches or eye irritation, and it was definitely less harsh on my scalp. It's great that you only need to mix it with lukewarm water, without any separate oxidizing agent. The price is also reasonable - you can get 3 packets for about $10 when it's on sale at Olive Young. While the hair does feel a bit stiff after dyeing, it's not too bad. After a few days of diligent hair mask treatments and using hair essence or oil, it recovers to a point where brushing isn't much of a problem. While the hair dye itself is good quality, the packaging leaves something to be desired. The powder packet and the included shampoo/treatment sachets are difficult to open by hand. I always end up hastily cutting them open with scissors or an eyebrow razor. Be careful with the included treatment - its consistency is very watery and tends to spill out as soon as you open it. I find it insufficient, so I usually follow up with my own hair mask. Although dye stains on skin or objects can be washed off with water fairly easily, they will set if left for too long, so it's best to clean them immediately. If you want vibrant and clean color results, especially in colder weather, leave the dye on for longer. Don't dilute it with too much water thinking it will increase the quantity. Also, using a hair cap makes a big difference in the results. Using a shaker bottle for mixing becomes increasingly difficult to squeeze as you go along. I recommend mixing the dye with water in a flat container from the start and using it in small portions as needed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 17, 2023
1. Minimal damage to hair. 2. Less likely to cause staining. 3. Almost no color bleeding. 4. Easy to use. 5. Virtually no odor. 6. Any skin staining fades quickly. The amount of dye feels a bit sparse, and while it may cause less damage, it still leads to noticeable hair shedding... Be careful if you mix in too much water, it can run and drip! Make sure to do a patch test on your skin before use! - al*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresAug 30, 2023
Fragrance-free and odorless. Compared to other brands, it's a water-based dye, which is really a great advantage. The dyeing method is so simple that even elderly people could use it without any trouble. Allergic reaction... I've tried many brands, but this is the first time I've experienced something like this. I'm shocked. It seems the dye doesn't take well on lighter hair. I don't even have sensitive skin and have never had this issue before. Everyone, while it's good to try new products... please be cautious when purchasing and using them.
