First off, it's a breath of fresh air - no harsh chemical smell typically associated with hair dyes. The powder-based colorant is mixed with water instead of a developer, which makes the application process a cool and comfortable experience for your scalp. No tingling or burning sensation at all! The Medium Brown shade gives the most natural-looking result in my opinion. There is some color wash-out when shampooing for the first few days after dyeing, which is why I'm deducting one star. The product comes with a shaker bottle for mixing the powder with water, but it's practically useless. No matter how much you shake it, the mixture doesn't blend well and ends up lumpy. It's far easier to just mix it in a regular dye bowl with water. After mixing with water, let it sit for about 10 minutes. This allows the powder to absorb the water and dissolve properly.
