There's absolutely nothing good about this. It's a complete waste of money. It clumps on my face, pills up, and I had to wipe it all off. I ended up just throwing it away. It pills up terribly, clumps, and gets cakey. I've tried at least a hundred different sunscreens, but this one makes me wonder if it's even a real COSRX product. I usually like and use their other products well, but this one is just... disappointing. - gu**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 18, 2024
I think it's thinner than most other brightening moisturizers on the market. The value for money is great, it's quite affordable. I've used many COSRX basics, cleansers, cushions, etc., and they've always been good, so I bought this brightening sunscreen to use as a foundation-free option. I was surprised by the low ratings, but maybe because I didn't have high expectations, it's not bad, though it doesn't seem to have any major advantages. (The top one is the Hera brightening sunscreen, the bottom is COSRX). It seems suitable enough for those with oily skin (those with dry skin might want to think it over). It's not as hydrating as I expected. I used it after using Hera's brightening moisturizer. I consider the Dalba brightening moisturizer to be the most hydrating, followed by Hera... I didn't have high expectations, but I still thought it would be more hydrating, so that part is a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if it even brightens the complexion well...? I have fair skin so I wasn't expecting a dramatic change in skin tone, but if you're looking for a product that really evens skin tone, I definitely wouldn't recommend this. You need to apply it over a solid skincare base. It's not an extremely hydrating or rich product, so a good skincare routine beforehand is essential. - kk*****Normal SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 3, 2024
I loved how easily it applied, almost like an essence. The scent is nearly fragrance-free, the ingredients are great, and the brightening effect is subtle and not overdone - it's exactly what I was looking for. If you're expecting a significant brightening effect, you might be a bit disappointed. - kk******Combination SkinRecommendedJun 12, 2024
This brightening sunscreen is refreshing and nice. It's great for daily use. I'm satisfied with it and have no particular complaints. I recommend it. - je*********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 16, 2024
As described, it has a watery texture that applies thinly like a lightweight moisturizer. For a brightening moisturizer with SPF, it goes on quite sheer. There's hardly any effect on evening skin tone. I appreciated that it wasn't a thick, heavy sunscreen that sits on the skin. - qa*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 15, 2024
I frequently use this when I'm going out without any other makeup, just applying sunscreen. The downside is that if you apply even a little too much, it tends to pill like clumped foundation. - ch*******Oily SkinAcne SkinMay 4, 2024
The brightening moisturizer seems to give a natural look. It also applies smoothly. It's disappointing that the sunscreen tends to clump together too much. If you can apply it without clumping, it should be fine. A pro tip is to apply it quickly. - ad****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 9, 2024
The complexion correction and mixed sunscreen formula definitely made it absorb well on the skin In sunlight, it slightly shows that you're wearing makeup, and I wish it absorbed just a bit better - rh*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 27, 2023
The natural brightening effect is great, making it perfect for a foundation-free look. When I'm going somewhere nearby, I just use this sunscreen and conceal any blemishes - it gives a clean, bare-faced appearance that I love. Even though I have oily, blemish-prone skin, it didn't cause any breakouts. The application is terrible - it pills no matter how you apply it! I've tried various methods, but it mostly ends up clumping. It's especially incompatible with aloe gel or hyaluronic acid products - it pills like crazy. Also, it's a bit too rich for oily skin. It goes on moisturizing at first, but quickly becomes greasy. Strangely enough, it doesn't cause blemishes. What an odd product. I found it's best to keep the skincare steps as light as possible. Applying cream immediately causes pilling. Here's a method I discovered: after light skincare, apply this sunscreen. If it pills, spray some mist or toner on your face and gently pat it in circles to smooth it out. Alternatively, mix it 1:1 with your cream from the start for almost pill-free application. Of course, this might reduce the brightening and sun protection effects. - dl****Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 22, 2023
As someone with combination skin, I love how smoothly this applies and naturally evens out my complexion. It's able to cover pores and minor blemishes. Perfect for those days when you want a natural look without full makeup. Under strong lighting or direct sunlight, it's noticeable that you're wearing something more than just sunscreen - it looks a bit like makeup. However, in normal conditions, it appears quite natural.
