It doesn't seem to shine when used alone... It feels like a so-so hydrating ampoule? And the price is quite steep. I know azulene is an expensive ingredient, but still...

As far as hydrating ampoules go, this one's hard to beat! It's also great for soothing the skin. When mixed with a soothing gel, you don't need to apply multiple layers to get that intense hydration boost.

After initially using this, I experienced a lot of dead skin cell buildup. I tried using it on and off, and it was definitely causing the issue. However, with consistent use, the dead skin cell problem did improve.
