The high-quality ingredients seem to work wonders. Even with my sensitive, dry skin, it absorbs well and significantly reduces dead skin cells. When winter dryness hits, I just apply an extra layer. The steep price tag is a bit of a heartbreaker. It's quite expensive, which makes it a bit hard on the wallet. Given the high price, I alternate between this and a more affordable toner depending on my skin's condition.

To put it bluntly, it's sticky and slippery, but on the bright side, it seems ideal for dry skin types. It's well-suited for winter use. To be honest, I don't feel any soothing effect when I apply this. I even bought the toner hoping it might help, but to no avail. Unfortunately, for someone like me with oily skin, seborrheic dermatitis, acne, and a plethora of blackheads and whiteheads, this will likely be the last product I try from this line. I bought this because it's said to have a high azulene content, and it's pretty decent overall. The soothing effect was weaker than I expected. I'd recommend the toner over the ampoule. The slightly runny texture makes it easy to apply and absorbs well into the skin. It seems like it would suit any skin type, and the hydration is absolutely fantastic! If only the price point could come down a bit, it would be perfect! Other than that, I can't really think of any drawbacks. This moisturizer works hard to deliver a great balance of oil and moisture, leaving your complexion with a beautiful inner glow. As far as hydrating ampoules go, this one's hard to beat! It's also great for soothing the skin. When mixed with a soothing gel, you don't need to apply multiple layers to get that intense hydration boost. It doesn't seem to shine when used alone... It feels like a so-so hydrating ampoule? And the price is quite steep. I know azulene is an expensive ingredient, but still... My skin is extremely dry, itchy, and sensitive. Usually, even products claiming to be gentle don't work for me. I'm using this because I heard the azulene ingredient helps calm the skin. As a serum, it's lightweight and moisturizing, and because my skin is so dry, it absorbs quickly. However, this alone isn't enough, so I layer it with other hydration-focused serums. After initially using this, I experienced a lot of dead skin cell buildup. I tried using it on and off, and it was definitely causing the issue. Skin type? T-zone with seborrheic dermatitis, oily T-zone, combination dehydrated skin elsewhere, and a wealth of tiny bumps, unfortunately! ✔️ Oil and moisture balance This is the best product I've used so far for oil and moisture balance. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, it's not enough to just add moisture, and finding that balance has been tricky. But this product pretty much solves it all in one go! It feels a bit oily when applying, but once absorbed, it's like 80% hydration and 20% oil! Thanks to this, I don't need to layer multiple products - this one is enough. ✔️ Soothing effect When I apply it generously at night, my skin feels noticeably more comfortable and has a brighter complexion the next morning. ✔️ Application & absorption The texture is quite fluid - if you drop it directly on your face from the dropper, it might run down and stain your clothes. But this also means it spreads easily and absorbs well into the skin. ✔️ Color Due to its ingredients, it has a strong purple tint. The color disappears when applied to the face, but if it accidentally drips onto your clothes, it can leave stains. You need to be careful as the fluid texture makes it prone to dripping. ✔️ Purchasing options I think the regular price is around 120,000 won, but I bought it online for just under 80,000 won. Considering it's a large 100ml size, I think it's reasonably priced - not cheap, but not excessively expensive either! Finishes without any stickiness and feels incredibly light on the skin. Absorbs really well. Leaves a slightly dry feeling. Makes the face quite matte, giving the impression that it's not providing enough hydration. Applied together with another ampoule.
