As far as hydrating ampoules go, this one's hard to beat! It's also great for soothing the skin. When mixed with a soothing gel, you don't need to apply multiple layers to get that intense hydration boost.

After initially using this, I experienced a lot of dead skin cell buildup. I tried using it on and off, and it was definitely causing the issue. However, with consistent use, the dead skin cell problem did improve.

My skin is extremely dry, itchy, and sensitive. Usually, even products claiming to be gentle don't work for me. I'm using this because I heard the azulene ingredient helps calm the skin. As a serum, it's lightweight and moisturizing, and because my skin is so dry, it absorbs quickly. However, this alone isn't enough, so I layer it with other hydration-focused serums.

Try using the toner and cream together as well.

Due to its ingredients, it has a strong purple tint. The color disappears when applied to the face, but if it accidentally drips onto your clothes, it can leave stains. You need to be careful as the fluid texture makes it prone to dripping.

✔️ Purchasing options
I think the regular price is around 120,000 won, but I bought it online for just under 80,000 won. Considering it's a large 100ml size, I think it's reasonably priced - not cheap, but not excessively expensive either!
However, it's a shame that without knowing where to look, you might end up paying more than necessary.

Skin type? T-zone with seborrheic dermatitis, oily T-zone, combination dehydrated skin elsewhere, and a wealth of tiny bumps, unfortunately!

✔️ Oil and moisture balance
This is the best product I've used so far for oil and moisture balance. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, it's not enough to just add moisture, and finding that balance has been tricky. But this product pretty much solves it all in one go!
It feels a bit oily when applying, but once absorbed, it's like 80% hydration and 20% oil!
Thanks to this, I don't need to layer multiple products - this one is enough.

When I apply it generously at night, my skin feels noticeably more comfortable and has a brighter complexion the next morning.

The texture is quite fluid - if you drop it directly on your face from the dropper, it might run down and stain your clothes. But this also means it spreads easily and absorbs well into the skin.

I'd love to buy the entire azulene line from Sante, but it's just too expensive

The price is wicked high. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, it's a bit too light to use alone as a serum in winter. Also, among the Sante Azulene line, this was the only product that stung when applied, even when my skin was so sensitive that just washing with water caused irritation.

Despite having blemishes, large pores, and super sensitive skin, I tried this product on recommendation from my esthetician. It has a lightweight texture! Great for summer use. I feel it's been really helpful!

It's on the pricier side, but you can get it for a bit less if you keep an eye out for group buy deals.

This is the most hydrating and soothing ampoule I've ever used. Highly recommended for those with dry skin!

For best results, apply before bed, wait 10-20 minutes after it's absorbed, then finish with a moisturizing cream. You'll wake up to plump, hydrated skin the next morning!

The only downside is that it's a bit pricier compared to other brands' products.

Be aware that azulene can cause photosensitivity, so avoid sun exposure after application.

It caused a tingling sensation and increased my redness. I'm not sure if it's the azulene or another ingredient that doesn't agree with my super sensitive skin, but it worsened my skin irritation.

The color is so pretty, it feels like the azulene is working hard to soothe my skin. The fragrance is a lovely floral scent.
