I've been using Age20's for almost a decade, so I was excited to try their new line! Unlike traditional cushions, this one melts into the skin, providing excellent coverage. The new line has a brighter color palette compared to the previous one. I have a darker complexion, so I bought shade 23N. It gives a calm and radiant look without any grayish tones. I'm really pleased with it! I'll need to use it more to fully assess its staying power. Unfortunately, the dryness seems unavoidable. It tends to settle into fine lines around the eyes. - do******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 9, 2025
The coverage is decent enough to slightly soften the appearance of prominent acne scars. If you apply it after proper skincare, your skin looks matte and fresh! It might transfer a little, but for those skilled in makeup application, I think the adherence would be sufficient to prevent noticeable transfer. I bought this after watching YouTube reviews, so I don't have any particular complaints. I got it during a sale, and they included a refill and a small pouch, which was great. It's all good. Since I'm not very skilled at applying makeup, it tends to transfer onto my mask quite a bit, but I guess that means I need more practice. - ga********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 28, 2025
It feels moisturizing and seems to provide good coverage. There's also a mini size available. My skin is already oily, but as time passes, it becomes even oilier, so I have to keep using blotting papers. - dk*******Combination SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2025
My skin looks great! After switching to this, people have been complimenting my complexion. It doesn't break down messily (especially around the nose area) and doesn't cause any darkening. The adherence is too weak... Even right after application, it comes off when touched. It's too light for shade 23. Thanks to this, my concealer darkening is very noticeable. Using the true shade 23 might look like kabuki makeup..? When applying the compact, don't press too hard as it can crumble the product. Instead, gently sweep it across your skin. - hy********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 1, 2025
I bought this during last year's Olive Young Black Friday sale out of curiosity, and I'm so glad I did. Being a balm type, it's easy to control the amount, has great coverage, and excellent staying power. I'm using it so well, and so far, it's my holy grail cushion. There's nothing to complain about. It's truly perfect without a single flaw. - di********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 7, 2024
Great coverage and didn't cause any blemishes even on my sensitive skin. I'll definitely repurchase! Even after 8 hours of wear, there was hardly any caking or darkening. I usually use shade 21, but after reading reviews saying it was a bit light, I ordered shade 23. It's not too dark and looks natural. There's not really anything to complain about. Just that the surroundings might get a bit messy? And the mirror is a bit small. Like with all compacts, it's better to apply thin layers gradually rather than a thick layer all at once for a more natural look. - me********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedNov 4, 2024
This product was an absolute game-changer for me during summer! You know how the old Kyun Mi-ri compact used to work better on my skin once the marbling disappeared? Well, this is exactly like that, but without the marbling and with even better adherence and coverage! I tend to run hot, especially in my upper body, which means my face sweats a lot. Usually, matte cushions or foundations just don't sit right on my skin. But with this product, topped with some powder, I didn't need to touch up all day long! There's not much to complain about. The original Kyun Mi-ri compact had a rather unattractive case, so I used to swap it out. But this one? The packaging is actually pretty cute! Remember that giant puff that was trending on TikTok? Using that to apply this product gives you insane adherence. It's absolutely amazing! - yo*******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessSep 30, 2024
Years ago, I used to love the Age20's compact (the one with marbling). But after multiple reformulations, the color and performance weren't as great. I typically use foundation for my base makeup and only use cushions for touch-ups or quick makeup days. Regular cushions often dry out before I can finish them. So, I've come full circle and returned to this balm-type compact that has plenty of product and is perfect for touch-ups. The coverage is pretty good - I'd say medium to high. The finish is somewhere between semi-matte and dewy. If you have combination to oily skin, you'll need to set it with powder to control shine. I have a yellow undertone on my body (around shade 22) but redness on my face. Shade 23 only works for me in winter. Personally, I hate brightening makeup (I prefer when my face and neck match - it covers blemishes better and looks more natural outside. I can't stand when my face looks like it's floating!) Most Age20's shades have a grayish-pink undertone, so even 23 looks quite pale. The brightness level is close to 22, but the color isn't particularly flattering. However, considering the brand's target audience of middle-aged consumers who like brightening effects and dewiness, it makes sense. The product itself is great, but the shade just doesn't work for me. I heard their new Silk(?) line is more semi-matte, and matte products usually have more subdued shades, so I'm planning to try that. I wish they'd expand their shade range to include more neutral/warm bases. They seem to focus on frequently releasing new cases rather than improving the basics. It would be nice if they focused on the fundamentals instead of just flashy marketing. (I noticed their Essence Cover(?) version on Amazon US has a much wider shade range.) - ki**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 29, 2024
Compared to other products in shade 23, this one seems a bit lighter. It's good to keep that in mind when purchasing. I heard it could oxidize badly, but it was actually fine. Right after switching to this cushion, people noticed my skin looked better! The coverage and staying power are great too. It's more of a semi-matte finish rather than fully matte. One downside is that I wish the ingredients were more skin-friendly. It might be best to buy this when it's on sale. Apply it gradually to the skin for a beautiful finish. Layer it on bit by bit for the best results! - ng******Combination SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessJun 28, 2024
The tone seems to match my skin well, but honestly, I'm not entirely sure. The coverage doesn't seem bad though. I switched from Luna to this, but it feels like it pills the more I apply it... It doesn't adhere well to the skin. And if I'm out for a while, it cakes up terribly. It just doesn't feel like it's sticking to my skin at all.
