My daily essential and holy grail sunscreen - the Alli UV Tone-Up series I've tried all the Alli sunscreens, alternating between the green and beige versions. This is my first time trying the pink one. It has a light pink tone with a weightless texture. I prefer products that give a subtle brightening effect rather than an intense white cast, and the Alli Tone-Up series delivers exactly that. It doesn't sit on top of the skin but leaves a slightly powdery finish. It brightens the complexion without feeling heavy or drying, so I often just use this with some brow and lip products for a no-makeup look. The sun protection is excellent. It adheres well to the skin and doesn't wear off in patches even with oily skin. Even in midsummer, my skin doesn't tan much. I also appreciate that it's formulated to protect coral reefs. There's nothing particularly negative to mention. Those with dry skin might find it a bit drying, and compared to other brands' tone-up sunscreens, it leaves less of a white cast - these points could be pros or cons depending on personal preference. Still, for a tone-up sunscreen, it's less drying than most. I'd recommend testing it at a Chicor store to see if it works for you. - kw******Dry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 19, 2025
It absorbs really smoothly and applies well. I usually use Anessa's basic sunscreen, but I decided to try this one with brightening effects. It's not exactly a brightening moisturizer effect... It's more like wearing a BB cream that doesn't match your complexion. - ma*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2023
It absorbs incredibly smoothly, just like an emulsion. It has a pinkish tint that slightly brightens your complexion when applied. While it does have a brightening effect, the longevity isn't great. The absorption is fantastic, making it perfect for quick application when you're in a hurry. The brightening effect is very short-lived. The price is quite high considering the amount of product you get. I use this as a base before applying my thicker brightening sunscreen. It absorbs well, leaving the skin hydrated, and I trust the sun protection from Allira, known for their excellent UV defense.
