I've been using this for about a month now, and I love how well it adheres to my skin when I spread it with a spatula and then pat it in with a cushion puff. Unfortunately, by late afternoon, I notice some darkening and the makeup starts to break down. For best results, use a spatula to spread the product evenly over your face, then pat it in with a cushion puff to ensure it adheres well to your skin. - al*****Dry SkinMay 15, 2025
Ingredients that are not as bad as one might think and the convenience of easy application Apparently, it had a bit more of a pressed tone with fragrance added. - ye******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 4, 2025
The brightening moisturizer seems to work well for evening out skin tone. It has better staying power than I expected, which is great for long-lasting coverage. Most people who use this product are looking to replace their cushion foundation or liquid foundation, hoping for a natural-looking, flawless complexion for everyday wear. Unfortunately, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells and doesn't apply evenly. To make matters worse, it's a bit challenging to remove, which can be inconvenient. - vi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresAug 9, 2024
This brightening moisturizer is exactly what I've been looking for to replace foundation! It has great staying power and gives a nice radiance without making you look ghostly pale. The texture is quite thick, so you need to blend a small amount well. It might feel a bit dry around the eyes, but it's not a flat matte finish. Instead, it enhances your skin texture for a beautiful semi-matte look. It provides decent hydration, doesn't cause darkening, and brings out that Inner Glow as a non-irritating makeup base. The coverage is pretty good too, effectively concealing pores and light blemishes! It sets rather quickly, so you need to blend it well. If you want it to last, you have to accept that it won't feel super moisturizing, even in summer. Be careful with the amount you use - if you apply too much, your makeup can look matte and heavy. I recommend moisturizing well in your skincare routine before using this. Don't apply it directly to your face - first spread it on the back of your hand, then apply a small amount and blend thoroughly. - dr*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsAug 6, 2024
Natural coverage that brightens the complexion nicely, I really liked it Using this alone gives me blemishes.. Strong sunscreens don't seem to agree with me, and this one made my skin react badly, it's so frustrating.. - sh******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 16, 2024
This works amazingly as a makeup base! I didn't feel any significant dryness, and there was no pilling with my makeup. It has great adherence, gives a beautiful skin finish, fills in pores well, and provides a natural, subtle brightening effect. Plus, it has sun protection! It's quite similar in performance to my go-to Cosrx base. One advantage over the Cosrx is the improved cap design, and it seems to give a more matte finish compared to Cosrx. The coverage isn't particularly outstanding (but this is also true for the Cosrx base, so I don't consider it a major issue). The biggest drawback is the price-to-value ratio, which isn't great. It's expensive for the small amount you get, so it's best to buy it when it's on sale on Coupang. Considering the value for money, I'd usually opt for the Cosrx one. I probably wouldn't buy this at full price... The ingredients also seem better in the Cosrx version. I might purchase this occasionally when there's a big sale on Coupang. For reference: Cosrx base is 50ml for 30,000 won, while this Klavuu base is 30ml for 29,000 won. I apply it thinly using a foundation brush, then cover blemishes with concealer, and finally pat on a dewy cushion foundation in specific areas. - am***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsFeb 9, 2024
This seems great for oily skin types. I appreciate that I don't need to apply a separate tone-up sunscreen and base. While the ingredients don't seem bad, I unfortunately experienced blemishes when using this. After a short while, it dries out my skin, causing dead skin cells to appear as white flakes. When I try to add more moisturizer underneath to combat this, it results in pilling. Surprisingly, it pills even without applying thick layers. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedOct 22, 2023
Great for covering pores, making it an excellent base product. If you apply multiple thin layers using a spatula, it provides almost complete coverage for your complexion. There's a tendency for the skin to feel dry if applied over a light skincare routine. It's recommended to establish a solid skincare routine before applying this product. - jy****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 2, 2023
I love a natural-looking complexion, and this is perfect for that. It offers both brightening and sun protection, so I'd recommend it if you're after a brightening moisturizer with sunscreen benefits. It doesn't cover blemishes or pores, so I'd suggest this for those with already good skin. I use a cushion pact or sponge to apply a thin base layer first, then follow up with another light layer for the best results. - ch*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 5, 2023
This is a moisturizing and lightweight cream that can brighten your bare skin. With its powerful UV protection, it's great for year-round use. Surprisingly, I'd especially recommend this cream to men who are just starting their grooming journey! It applies lightly and adheres well, so it doesn't break down even during workouts. If you're looking for a natural-looking brightening moisturizer that's comfortable on the skin, I highly recommend this! However, for someone with dry, sensitive skin like me, it slightly accentuates dead skin cells. But this is due to my skin type and happens with all sunscreens, brightening moisturizers, and foundations, so I'll give it a pass... Be careful when pumping as a lot comes out. Apply thinly in small amounts!
