The product has a non-watery Hwahae cream texture. The color has a grayish tone typical of Hwahae creams. The scent is reminiscent of old sunscreen. The spreadability is medium. The coverage is not too heavy, able to conceal redness and blemishes. It provides more coverage than tone-up or BB cream sunscreens. This is a lifesaver for sensitive skin and social life. I really, really don't want to wear makeup, but since I have to for social life, I searched for and tried base products, and settled on this one. Cushions feel stuffy, flip over, and make my skin a mess, but this product makes my skin feel like it can breathe and is comfortable. Of course, I still get breakouts, but much less compared to cushions. There are Hwahae creams that only provide light tone correction, but this one can conceal redness quite well. However, you need to layer it properly! Even if it can't completely cover like concealer or foundation, multiple thin layers can conceal a decent amount. As mentioned earlier, it needs to be applied multiple times to cover, but the amount is small... And the price is a bit high as well... And the color is disappointing. Since my skin is on the lighter side, the dark color is visible from the start, and it gets even darker over time... It seems to have come out in a grayish tone to cover the reddish tones well, but I really wish there was a lighter shade available too! *Apply the puff. *I recommend applying it in thin, multiple layers if you want to cover certain areas. Trying to cover it all in one thick layer will be too much. *When it's drying: Lay a toner pad on top to boost skin moisture, then properly apply your base products. Mix BB cream with a cream or lotion (for dry skin types, even oily skin can emphasize flaky areas, so I recommend thoroughly prepping the skin and applying carefully). *Oily skin: Powder the areas where oil comes through. - pa***************Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedMar 4, 2025
As someone who's been dealing with rosacea for years, I've found my perfect makeup routine! I start with my skincare, then apply Zeroid's mineral sunscreen, followed by their BB cream. I usually apply a thin layer of BB cream using a spatula, then pat it in with a puff. This evens out my complexion and provides some coverage for redness. For any remaining redness, I use The SAEM's 3-color concealer. The Zeroid BB cream is a solid, user-friendly product! While prolonged heavy use can sometimes lead to small bumps, they subside when I take a break from makeup, so it works well for me. Extended heavy use of the BB cream can occasionally cause small bumps to appear! For extra hydration, try mixing the BB cream with a bit of essence before applying with a spatula. - le**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 1, 2025
It seems gentle! Great to use when blemishes appear on your skin The color isn't particularly attractive. Also, it feels a bit oily - rl********Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedDec 11, 2024
It's moisturizing with great coverage and staying power. Even without any special technique, it applies evenly and gives a smooth finish without emphasizing dead skin cells. Although it's a BB cream, I was extremely satisfied with its performance. As typical of BB creams, it does have a slight grayish tint, but it's not noticeable once applied to the skin. It works perfectly when mixed with a matte foundation. - tk*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessOct 27, 2024
The coverage for redness is decent. I'm not sure if it has any particular advantages over other BB creams though. I usually don't get blemishes, but this caused some to appear. After about 3 hours of wear, my skin becomes extremely oily. The shade is a bit dark for me, but that might vary depending on your natural complexion. - ou***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 12, 2024
The coverage is great and it conceals most blemishes! The color is pretty decent too, but it might be a bit dark for those with fair skin. It applies a bit thick, and the color doesn't brighten your complexion - it's actually slightly darker. - mi********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2024
Since my previous Zeroid Pimprove was discontinued, this was my next best option. I trust the Zeroid brand, so I'm using it with confidence. The coverage has improved, and it lasts longer on the skin. Still, I miss the old Pimprove BB cream because it was thicker. This one feels less moisturizing. I wanted a BB cream, not a foundation, but this feels too much like a foundation now. Mixing it with a hydrating emulsion gives it a more lively appearance. - id******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 21, 2024
It's gentle on sensitive skin without causing blemishes, and it's easy to wash off, so I'm satisfied and have been using it for a long time. I dislike BB creams with a grayish tint, but this one has a lovely beige tone that brightens the complexion. The coverage isn't extremely strong; it's more about evening out the skin tone. To maximize how well it absorbs, try mixing in a bit of emulsion when applying. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedApr 23, 2024
It absorbs naturally and I feel reassured because it's a dermatological product It's difficult to purchase easily... sigh - le******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 23, 2024
This is one of the few makeup products I can actually use. Even with my dermatitis-prone skin, I'm satisfied that I can at least apply it. The ashy color helps to slightly conceal my redness, even if just for a moment. I think the biggest advantage is that even those with super sensitive skin can use it with peace of mind. 1. The absorption is a bit stiff. It improves if you pat it on instead of rubbing. 2. After application, it feels matte and can sometimes accentuate dead skin cells. It's a bit better when natural oils come through. 3. The ashy tone could be seen as a drawback, but it does slightly cover redness, so it could be both a pro and a con. If you mix a tiny bit of your skincare product with the BB cream, it adheres better and reduces the stiffness! Since I have sensitive skin, instead of oil, I mix in a very small amount of the serum I use in my skincare routine.
