Advantages: - As a hydrating suncare product, it's incredibly moisturizing. - Free from irritating ingredients, it feels gentle and goes beyond basic sun protection to help with skin hydration. - Personally, I prefer products that maintain a matte finish for long periods, and this one fits the bill perfectly. (It stays clean without any greasiness or slipperiness) - The packaging is sleek and well-designed, making it convenient to use. Disadvantages: - The absorption isn't particularly great. (It feels like applying a moisture-barrier cream) - You need to apply multiple layers for adequate coverage. - The quantity isn't generous considering the price point. - oh*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 1, 2025
It applies smoothly like an emulsion and feels moisturizing. There's hardly any white cast and it absorbs well into the skin. I thought it was too cheap... turns out the expiration date is only until this summer, which is an incredibly short shelf life. - as*******Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 1, 2025
It's decent and quite nice. The texture isn't too rich, making it perfect for spring application. As we move into summer, it feels a bit too rich, which is disappointing for those with oily skin. - ma*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2025
I didn't experience any blemishes. While some organic sunscreens can feel irritating, this product didn't cause any discomfort. I bought this to use with a mineral sunscreen because I heard it was moisturizing, but even when applied on its own, it wasn't as hydrating as I expected. - oh******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2025
The emulsion-like texture makes it easy to apply without feeling heavy. Best of all, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry underneath. It's a sunscreen that keeps my skin comfortable. There's hardly any white cast, which might disappoint those who prefer that effect. - jk****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2025
It absorbs smoothly like an emulsion and feels hydrating. There's hardly any pilling, and it absorbs well into the skin. I thought it was strange that it was so cheap... turns out the expiration date is this August. - wg*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2025
Hydrating, gentle, and a great deal when on sale. Could even replace your morning emulsion. No real downsides. If I had to nitpick, it might slightly emphasize dead skin cells. But considering it can go down to about $6 on sale, just keep that in mind when using it. - gr**********Combination SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2025
As someone who typically uses mineral sunscreens, I usually dislike the sticky feeling of chemical sunscreens. However, since mineral sunscreens can make my skin look dry and flaky when applying makeup, I only use chemical sunscreens for those occasions. I also have dry eyes, making me very sensitive to eye irritation, so I'm quite cautious when choosing chemical sunscreens. Considering all these factors, I highly recommend the A-True chemical sunscreen. First off, it has very little of that typical oily feeling associated with chemical sunscreens and feels as light as a hydrating moisturizer. The texture is closer to an emulsion than a cream, making it comfortable to apply. It gives a hydrated glow rather than an oily shine, which I found satisfying when applying makeup. Plus, there was absolutely no eye irritation. Usually, even when I buy chemical sunscreens, I end up using them only a couple of times before relegating them to body use during vacations. But with this one, I plan to use the entire tube on my face. It's been a long time since I've been this satisfied with a chemical sunscreen, and I think I might stick with A-True for my chemical sunscreen needs from now on. Also, the packaging design is similar to a tube-type eye cream, and when you squeeze out the product, it comes out cleanly without any mess around the opening, which I'm extremely pleased with. I've only used it twice so far, and I haven't found any particular downsides in terms of texture or other aspects. However, I noticed there was no seal on the product opening when I first opened the cap. I assume this might be due to the unique shape of the cap and opening, which I'm actually very satisfied with. It dispenses the product cleanly without any mess around the edges, which is great. But I understand that some users might feel uneasy about the lack of a seal. Personally, I think maintaining the current opening design without a seal provides a much better user experience throughout the product's use than changing the opening design just to accommodate a seal. - yo******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 5, 2025
I love this cleansing oil and have bought it several times. I'm really satisfied with it. A friend gifted me this product, and I found it quite nice when I tried it before. So when I saw it was on sale, I decided to purchase it. The expiration date is August 2, 2025. I already have two at home, so I bought this one in advance, but it looks like I'll need to use this one first. I was considering ordering another set before receiving this one, but it's a bit disappointing that the shelf life is shorter than expected. Usually, this product has a generous shelf life of over two years, but I'm a bit disappointed that the expiration date wasn't mentioned in the product description. Also, they forgot to include the free gift.
