As it is a mineral-based product, there is some white cast, but it is significantly, extremely, and tremendously lower than other brands. (After application, it belongs to the category of having almost no white cast) After using it for a long time, I developed my own method - I apply the Aqua Rich Gel (mineral-based, this product) only around the eyes, and use the Aqua Rich Essence (organic) for the rest of the face. There is a slight white cast, but it helps brighten the eye area in its own way. The standout feature is that it does not feel heavy. The face does not feel stuffy, so I keep reaching for it.

The downside is that if there is a lot of facial sweating (the kind where it's dripping profusely during outdoor exercise), it can leave white marks.
