  The cleansing effectiveness is incredibly strong. If you rinse it out a few minutes after shampooing, the scent lingers for a long time. It has a subtle, powdery fragrance. I understand it's known for its color-protecting properties, and it really does help maintain hair color for an extended period.

  Cons

  It can make the scalp excessively dry, so using it daily might lead to more moisture loss, resulting in a cycle of oily scalp. It's one of those products that makes you wonder if it really needs to be this expensive.

  Pros

  The best thing about it is simply the 'scent'. There's no violet fragrance that can replace Daddy-O. The scent lasts for a long time too. I washed my hair with Daddy-O in the morning, and even after shampooing the next day and drying my hair, I could still smell Daddy-O - wow! Also, since Daddy-O tends to dry out your hair, it doesn't get greasy easily, making it great for summer use.

  Cons

  It makes my hair extremely dry. Just like how dry skin can get itchy, my scalp becomes unbearably itchy. This shampoo doesn't suit my scalp, but... I can't give it up because of the scent. It also completely ruins my hair texture... sigh.

  Tip

  I use a scalp-specific shampoo for my scalp, and apply Daddy-O only to my hair, like a treatment.

  True to its name as a fragrant shampoo, this product's intense aroma is undoubtedly its standout feature. I especially love how the scent lingers long after washing, with a subtle, lasting fragrance. Once you try it, you'll understand why it's so addictive. Knowing it's made with natural ingredients gives me extra peace of mind. While it might feel a bit stiff during washing, I've learned this is because natural shampoos don't contain silicone, so I use it with confidence. Though not dramatic, it's also quite effective at covering scalp odor.

  Cons

  The price is admittedly quite steep. It's very expensive. Also, the fragrance might be polarizing. I don't mind it, but those sensitive to scents might not like it. I bought it partly because it's supposed to be good for hair loss, but I can't really agree with that claim. Results may vary, but after shampooing, it can leave a purple tint between your fingernails.

  Tip

  Buying directly from overseas can save you money! Otherwise, try to catch their annual sale! If you don't want your nails stained, use silicone gloves. (The color does fade over time, but it can be surprisingly stubborn to remove.)
