The cleansing effectiveness was indeed satisfactory. I bought this purely for the scent, and if you're a fan of violet fragrance, you'll find it delightfully moisturizing. It's surprisingly intense, so don't worry about it being too subtle. As for the price, well, we all know Lush - it falls into the rather expensive category. I'd recommend using this to wash your hair when you want to lift your mood or before an important appointment. - vo*****Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 25, 2024
The fragrance is absolutely delightful. I always stock up on this when I visit Japan since it's much cheaper there. The cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly strong, so I notice dandruff reappearing the very next day. If you use it with a hair brush, you can prevent dandruff from forming! - hj********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 10, 2024
As everyone has mentioned, the fragrance is absolutely amazing. It's a product that gets compliments on its scent even without wearing perfume - the shampoo smell alone is enough. The color is also intriguingly beautiful, though the ingredients don't look particularly great. This shampoo might be too drying for those with dry hair. Also, since there's no matching conditioner for Daddy-O, you'll need to consider pairing it with a different conditioner. The ingredients aren't great, and it's incredibly overpriced for what it does. It's truly a product just for the 'scent'. Recently, a violet-scented conditioner called Violet Cream was released, which has a very similar fragrance to Daddy-O. However, its effectiveness as a conditioner is questionable. If you want to buy Daddy-O for its scent, I recommend purchasing a high-performance conditioner from another brand that complements it well. - ou***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 9, 2024
The cleansing effectiveness is incredibly strong. If you rinse it out a few minutes after shampooing, the scent lingers for a long time. It has a subtle, powdery fragrance. I understand it's known for its color-protecting properties, and it really does help maintain hair color for an extended period. It can make the scalp excessively dry, so using it daily might lead to more moisture loss, resulting in a cycle of oily scalp. It's one of those products that makes you wonder if it really needs to be this expensive. It works well when alternated with regular shampoo. For the scent to last longer, use a conditioner that complements it. Be sure to apply a scalp tonic after use to maintain scalp health. - yu*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessOct 22, 2024
Eliminates scalp odor, amazing scent longevity, and produces great lather even with a small amount. Causes scalp to ooze fluid, but this stops when not using the shampoo. - so********Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedOct 13, 2024
The fragrance lasts long and it cleanses thoroughly with a squeaky-clean feeling! It also lathers up nicely! While I liked everything about it, some people reported that it caused dandruff! - mu*******Combination SkinInner DrynessRednessOct 12, 2024
I received this as a gift and I'm in love with the violet scent. The color is also quite appealing. I'm experiencing a rash... I wonder what's causing it. It started with itching around my ears and then spread to my face and chest. - cy***Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedSep 25, 2024
My hair is super curly and tends to get frizzy if I don't straighten it, but using this conditioner along with the shampoo from the same brand has really helped reduce my stress levels. It's on the pricier side, and even a gentle squeeze dispenses quite a lot of product. You have to rush to wash your hair because so much comes out that it starts dripping everywhere. - ys*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 16, 2024
The scent is absolutely mind-blowing. The violet fragrance is legendary, truly amazing. It covers all potential flaws with its scent alone. I'll definitely repurchase, again and again - it's become a staple in my routine. The ingredients are a bit disappointing. It's quite pricey for a shampoo. I have a dry scalp, but Dadyo is meant for oily scalps. Even if I wash my hair just once a day, my scalp makes a squeaky clean sound when I'm washing. It makes my hair feel stiff, and when I try to comb through with my fingers while shampooing, it feels like my hair is being pulled out. - th*********Dehydrated SkinRecommendedJul 17, 2024
The scent is lovely and long-lasting. Plus, its cleansing effectiveness is so good that my scalp stays oil-free until evening! Highly recommended for those with oily scalps. Sometimes it stains my fingernails purple, which is a bit disappointing.
