The scent is the classic Lush store aroma! It's a subtle floral fragrance with a unique aromatic twist, giving off an elegant and calming vibe. Among Lush products, I think this scent, along with Twilight and Dad's Garden Lemon Tree, has the most universal appeal. Even my mom gave it a thumbs up for the fragrance! It pairs well with the solid perfume they sell alongside it. The scent is quite strong, so even after it absorbs, you'll continue to emit a lovely floral aroma for several hours. The downside is the texture and how it absorbs. Compared to the Sleepy body emulsion, this one is much thicker and oilier. After application, it doesn't absorb well and tends to slide around on the skin rather than sinking in. It's more greasy and thick than moisturizing. I even broke out with body acne after using this... ugh. And let's be honest, it's not great value for money. Lush is really expensive. They even raised the prices of their body sprays at the beginning of the year... If you use this body emulsion as liberally as a regular one, you might go bankrupt soon. Please let me save some money, Lush! - ju*****Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 29, 2024
Initially, the scent has a medicinal note that's not great, but once absorbed, it transforms into a sweet, rich floral fragrance that lingers subtly for a long time. The scent evolves over time, offering a variety of aromatic experiences. It has an oil-like component that leaves skin feeling smooth and coated. This product is perfect for dry winter months, combining the benefits of both oil and emulsion in one step. I bought this expecting a floral scent, but it actually smells like sweet herbal medicine. After a while, the medicinal scent fades, leaving only the sweet aroma. I usually use the Sleepy body emulsion, and this absorbs more slowly in comparison. I prefer a powdery finish, so the slippery texture is a downside for me. If it were a bit less greasy, it would have been great for summer use too. - ul********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedNov 24, 2024
My favorite body emulsion. The scent gets even better over time compared to when you first smell it. Not sure if it's typical of Lush products, but the texture seems to vary with each purchase. - dl*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 24, 2024
Originally used only as a perfume, this product was released as a body emulsion due to its incredible fragrance. The sweet notes of rosemary combined with the captivating scent of oak moss create a truly mysterious yet comforting aroma. What's most impressive is that despite being a body emulsion, its fragrance lasts remarkably well! It's so incredibly expensive! The price makes my hands tremble uncontrollably. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 18, 2024
The scent is exactly like a Lush store, which is lovely. It's not too sticky, which is great. My body skin is atopic and sensitive. It caused hive-like bumps on my forearms, similar to cholinergic urticaria. I'll need to stop using it for a few days to determine if it's just my imagination or a real reaction. - lu*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 17, 2024
The scent is so relaxing, it absorbs well, and it's not sticky at all. I absolutely love it! I think I've gone through several bottles already. It's a bit pricey, which is disappointing. Also, the emulsion tends to stick to the container, sometimes causing it to drip, which is a bit of a letdown. - qw**********Normal SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 6, 2023
The hydration power is off the charts and the fragrance is absolutely divine! However, those with oily skin might want to steer clear. There's hardly anything to complain about, but don't expect it to glide on like a cream or emulsion! You'll need to take your time for it to absorb well. - ka********Dry SkinRecommendedDec 3, 2023
The fragrance is delightful. It provides unbeatable hydration. One application keeps skin moisturized until evening. The scent might be polarizing. There are more potentially problematic ingredients than expected. - na******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedNov 16, 2023
The fragrance is truly wonderful. It has a main aromatic scent that creates a comfortable and calming feeling. The hydration is also excellent. I'm on my third jar of Lush's Pansy, which shows how satisfied I am with its moisturizing properties and scent. You don't even need to wear perfume separately, as this leaves a lovely fragrance on your body that lingers. Since it's a product you scoop out, there's a chance of dust getting in, but I understand that's part of Lush's environmentally conscious approach. I don't really have any complaints. If you buy it through international shipping, you can get it at a lower price. When purchased in Korea, all products are from the Japanese factory, so I recommend buying directly from overseas. - 6c********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 14, 2023
I've struggled to find a suitable body cream, but Lush's Pansy is great. Even when applied generously, it doesn't feel sticky or cause any blemishes. It doesn't have any particularly noteworthy special features. Also, while I'm not sure about other products, this one occasionally has a scent that reminds me of hormones or sweat.
