The color really takes well! It dyes the hair quickly and evenly. Unfortunately, it's not a bubble dye. Maybe because I used it on bleached hair, but the color fades quickly. - 97*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 31, 2024
I ordered this because I was already using Moremo's treatment, and it's really nice! There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. I love Moremo products. They're great! - qk******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinAug 8, 2024
Unlike other products, I loved that it came with a separate ampoule for pre and post-coloring care I applied too much of the protective serum before coloring, so the dye didn't take... oops Apply the protective serum in moderation... - rh**********Dehydrated SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 8, 2024
Why I bought it: After bleaching my hair, I was debating whether to cut it into a short style or dye it black since it looked messy as it grew out. I was worried about the cost of dyeing at a salon due to my thick, long hair. So I decided to try self-dyeing and chose Moremo since it's so well-known. Convenience: It was easy to apply by myself, even with grown-out roots! No patchy results either. However, the cream formula might be tricky for roots - you may need help from a friend or family member. Color: I expected a cool black, but it has more of a blue-purple tint than I thought. I actually like this fresh, eye-catching look! Just note it may not match your roots perfectly. Contents: As always with Moremo, I love that it includes pre-treatment ampoules and post-treatment balm. It even comes with a tinting brush and other accessories! Plastic cape and gloves: While everything else was great, the plastic cape and gloves were pretty useless. The gloves were a bit thicker than other brands, but still kept slipping off. Latex gloves would have been better. The cape is so flimsy it's not worth using. I'd recommend wearing old clothes or dark colors you don't mind staining instead. How to remove hair dye stains from floors: It's hard to clean up spills while dyeing, so stains can set in. Here are two methods I found: 1. Using alcohol: Apply alcohol to a dry cleaning cloth and place it on the stain. This works for light stains. 2. Using bleach: For tougher stains, I carefully poured undiluted bleach directly on the spot, covered it with a cloth, and left it for about 20 minutes. It worked perfectly! Caution: Bleach is harsh, so test it first to avoid discoloring your floor. - ge******Combination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2024
It absorbs well and is easy to use. The convenience of application is great. I'm also pleased that it doesn't contain any ingredients I try to avoid. It's disappointing that when first applied, it comes out very blue instead of black. - a3*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2024
I'm so satisfied because it's less irritating and the color comes out beautifully. The staying power isn't bad either. The scent was a bit strong and seemed to sting my nose... Ventilation is a must! - wj**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 23, 2023
I appreciate that the ingredients are good, which gives me peace of mind! It's especially reassuring since many hair dyes have harsh ingredients. I didn't find anything particularly disappointing! The other hair products in the same line are also great. - wl********Dry SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedSep 30, 2023
The color is beautiful and it's easy to dye your hair at home. There's plenty of product in the package, which is great for DIY coloring. The color does fade a bit quickly, but it's not too bad. However, if you're looking for a truly cool tone, you might be a little disappointed. - an*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 2, 2023
The recovery balm that comes with it is truly amazing! I'd even buy it separately as a full-size product! - Absorbs terribly: It's so runny that it drips everywhere. Even with newspapers spread out, it still splattered on the floor... and won't come off. - Longevity: The blue tint lasts about a week, maybe? - Smell: Less intense than Fresh Light, but stronger than Pudding or Hello Bubble/Cream. Use in a well-ventilated area with newspapers spread out really, really wide. Don't do it alone - you're better off going to a salon... - wn*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 26, 2023
I mixed it with a matte deep brown shade. I was worried it might turn into an intensely bright blue-tinted black, but thankfully, by blending it, there was only a slight blue tinge that disappeared after a few washes. If I had used Cool Black on its own, it probably would have resulted in a blue-tinged black color...
