After using it, it will remove excess oil from the scalp. I also recommend it to teenage friends who have scalp trouble due to oily skin. The oil does not come back up until the evening.
ConsFor someone with dry hair, it felt a bit too dry to use every day. After using it for about 3 months, the oiliness was greatly reduced, so I ended up alternating between this and a regular shampoo later on. The price is quite expensive... If you're not someone who struggles with oily hair, it might feel a bit too pricey. For dry hair, I really don't recommend it. Especially with this shampoo, your hair feels very stiff when rinsing it out.
TipThere is also an Aesop treatment, but personally I recommend using Aesop shampoo and combining it with another brand's more nourishing treatment or conditioner. After using it for about 6 months, I found that the oiliness was greatly reduced, and I felt it was a bit dry, so I carefully recommend alternating between this and a regular shampoo. For those concerned about oily hair/scalp odor, try this shampoo + Evrosse hair vinegar + scalp toner combination. Even in the evening, I sometimes get a faint herbal scent from my scalp. My ex-boyfriend used to always smell my scalp, but I was confident about it. 👍🏻

It lathers well and rinses off easily.
ConsI've tried all the Aesop shampoo lines, but the stiff feeling after rinsing is unavoidable for all of them. However, you get used to it over time.

The only downside is that as winter approached, it started causing more static electricity and making my hair feel a bit stiff, so I switched to a different shampoo. But nothing else quite matches the satisfaction I got from this one. I'm planning to repurchase it. If you're debating between the Aesop shampoo and the Equalizing shampoo, and you have an oily scalp, I'd definitely recommend the Equalizing one!
ConsThe hair does feel soft, but the cleansing power is quite strong, so it can leave the hair feeling a bit stiff. I'd recommend using a conditioner along with it. The fragrance is quite strong, so there may be some who don't like it. But if you enjoy strong scents like I do, you'll probably love it. I'd suggest trying it out in the store to see if you like the fragrance.
