  Pros

  I remember the scent being pleasant. It's quite refreshing and absorbs well into the skin.

  Cons

  It caused cystic acne to appear. I bought the toner and emulsion set to prevent excess sebum and blemishes after my skin barrier had recovered, but my skin completely flared up after just one day. There were no issues when I applied it to my body, and it seemed to improve my back acne somewhat, which suggests it does have some effect on blemishes. However, I strongly advise against it for those prone to breakouts due to a compromised skin barrier. It completely destroyed my skin's protective barrier.

  Tip

  Not wanting to waste money, I generously applied it to my back.

  This emulsion is a true holy grail product I've repurchased countless times. As someone with combination skin, I love how it feels moisturizing when applied but finishes with a fresh, non-greasy feel. It's perfect!

  Cons

  Those with dry skin might find it lacks sufficient hydration. Even for combination skin types, you may need to pair it with a serum or cream during drier winter months for adequate moisture.

  The lightweight and refreshing formula doesn't leave a sticky finish, making it quite nice for everyday use

  However, even for my oily skin, it feels a bit drying. If I only apply this after toner, my skin feels dry. I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin
