I've been using this product for about two weeks. First off, the subtle herbal scent isn't overwhelming, making it perfect for daily use without any concerns. Its cleansing effectiveness is decent, and if you leave it on for a bit like a mask, it helps smooth out dead skin cells, working relatively gently even on super sensitive skin. I was also impressed by how it leaves the skin feeling hydrated without any deep dryness. The cleansing power isn't as strong as I expected, so it might not be sufficient for thoroughly removing heavy makeup or sunscreen. Also, due to the tube packaging, it can be a bit inconvenient to use up the last bits of the product. Rather than using it as a foam cleanser, I found it more effective to apply it 'like a mask' for 1-2 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water. This method seemed to better smooth out dead skin cells. While its cleansing power is mild, using it as a second step in your cleansing routine after removing makeup can help reduce skin irritation. - wk*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2025
At first, I thought it was revolutionary because of its excellent cleansing power and dead skin cell removal! After using it, I definitely noticed smoother skin texture and no more rough patches (especially around the nose area, which became super smooth). I didn't need to use any additional exfoliators! I've been using it for about 6 months now, and well... I'm not sure if I've just gotten used to this pack cleanser, but I don't feel like it's as amazing as it was at the beginning. It's also a bit pricey for the amount you get, and there's not enough to use as a mask, so I'm only using it as a cleanser now. It seems like a decent product for everyday use, but nothing extraordinary. The more cleanser you use, the more you'll be able to experience its mask-like effects! - lo******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2025
The lingering fragrance after use leaves you feeling refreshed post-cleanse. It's gentle on the skin and provides excellent hydration. If you have blemishes, there's a slight risk they might flare up. It's on the milder side, so if you prefer that squeaky-clean feeling, you might sense some residue. After using cleansing water, apply a thin layer like a mask. Wait 1-2 minutes, then gently massage with lukewarm water to create a lather. Rinse off after another minute to remove any remaining impurities. - he*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRecommendedApr 23, 2025
Skin type: Dehydrated dry skin, slightly oily forehead, dry U-zone, good pores, minor blackheads, occasional small blemishes (forehead, between eyebrows, under chin), sensitive atopic skin, and a few freckles. Texture and absorption: It's a basic foam cleansing type. Moisturizing power: Hoho Lavender (purple) > Labocado (yellow) > Strawberry (pink) > Mugwort (green). All four are mask types, so they're all hydrating, but in my opinion, Hoho Lavender (purple) felt the most moisturizing even after cleansing. Dry skin types might find Hoho Lavender the most hydrating option. Blemishes: None at all, very gentle. Ingredients: Moisturizing and gentle with panthenol and niacinamide. Among the four masks, the Hoho Lavender (purple) with panthenol suited me best. As it's a foam cleansing mask, it can dry out if left on too long. About 1-2 minutes seems ideal! Also, it's quite expensive. I had to take off one star because of the price. The hydrating formula seems most suitable for winter use, and the mask brush applies the product best. Among the four, I used the Hoho Lavender (purple) the most. - 65********Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedApr 19, 2025
I tried this product because the idea of cleansing and masking simultaneously seemed innovative. It lathers well and I really like it! While the product itself is truly excellent, it requires quite a lot of product for a single mask application, and it seems a bit on the pricey side. - 62****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 6, 2025
It's less irritating after cleansing. I love the pleasant fragrance and how well it lathers up. The price is a bit higher than expected, and it seems to get a little sticky when it absorbs moisture. - hi******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 23, 2025
I've been using this since it first launched, going through about three bottles in less than a year. While it's gentle, I found the cleansing effectiveness slightly lacking. Double cleansing is necessary. It's fine for removing sunscreen and BB cream, but for foundation, powder, and eye makeup, you'll need to double cleanse. I use it after wiping my face with a cotton pad, cleansing two or three times thoroughly. I rationalized using this product thinking it must have good ingredients since it's vegan. - as********Oily SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 27, 2025
This is a mini set of 4 products, not the full-size version. I'm using it as a second cleanser after my initial cleanse. It lathers well and cleanses gently without irritation, which is great. What I really love is that you can apply it thickly like a mask for an extra treatment. While it worked fine for me, a friend who tried it experienced blemishes and redness. Be careful - it really stings if it gets in your eyes! For a quick and easy skincare boost, apply a thick layer like a mask during cleansing. Leave it on for about a minute, then gently massage in circular motions as you rinse. The pleasant scent and thick texture feel great on the skin. It's so smooth when rolling it on, which makes for a really enjoyable application experience. I'm not sure about its effectiveness. Also, despite the stated volume, there seems to be less product than expected when actually using it. - lh******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 1, 2025
I liked using the strawberry cleanser, and the hoho lavender is great too! As someone with dry and sensitive skin, I think it would suit even super sensitive skin. There's no irritation at all, and it's gentle, hydrating, and lovely. The scent is nice too. The texture is a bit rich, so I feel like I use it up quickly. I use it for morning cleansing or at night when I've only worn sunscreen during the day. To be honest, I can't be 100% sure if it removes sunscreen completely, but it seems to do the job. The downside is that it gets used up quickly, and the packaging is quite inconvenient. After using it for a while, it becomes hard to squeeze out due to its rich texture. The packaging needs improvement - perhaps a narrower opening and a longer (less wide) container would make it easier to squeeze out and use. For morning cleansing, I just splash my face with water a few times, then lather the cleanser in my hands before using. When removing sunscreen, I wash my hands first, dry them, then apply the cleanser to my dry face. After that, I wet my hands slightly and gently massage in circular motions - it feels like it's cleansing well this way!
