As someone who has to wear a mask all day at work, using foundation or powder can be a bit much! But since I started using this serum that I was lucky enough to receive, I've found it's perfect to use on its own without any other makeup. It has a brightening effect that gives a lovely glow, more of a pink tone rather than a white cast. And since it's a serum, you can apply your moisturizer over it without any pilling! I thought since it was a serum, I could just squeeze out a full dropper and apply it all over my face. Big mistake! It was way too much and made my skin super white. I had to wipe off half of it. Just using half a dropper is more than enough. Everyone will probably be surprised by how much product comes out!

It's perfect for a natural, effortless look as it brightens the complexion while providing sun protection. The shade is quite light, so I also used it as a highlighter for touch-ups during the day over my makeup. It can pill if applied before your skincare has fully absorbed. It's perfect for a light application when you're heading out somewhere nearby during summer. While it brightens and applies thinly, which is nice, the staying power isn't very long-lasting. The brightening moisturizer works really well, and it's great as a sunscreen alternative. Since I received it through a Hwahae review, I'm not sure about the price, but it applies quite thickly, which feels reassuring. It seems to be waterproof too. It pills a lot... especially for those with dry skin like me, it tends to sit on top of the skin. I'm not sure about the serum part, but it really just feels like a brightening sunscreen. If you've tried the brightening sunscreen from Plantiana, it's similar but a bit more elastic. Because of this, it's a bit difficult to spread evenly. Use small amounts and pat it on bit by bit. It doesn't spread easily. I found that applying this first like a serum, then following with an emulsion or cream helps it spread better. First off, I use this product alone when going to work or for casual outings! It provides coverage similar to a basic makeup base. If you have a skin tone between shade 17 and light 21, I highly recommend it! You know those brightening moisturizers that don't actually brighten? This isn't like that - it genuinely evens out your complexion. For those obsessed with a dewy look, this is a must-try! I'm a glow fanatic myself, always buying skincare that promises radiance. The serum texture keeps skin hydrated and maintains that glow. Applying it with a damp sponge gives a truly natural skin finish. I even got my mom to try it with a sponge, and wow, the dewy skin effect is amazing! As it's a vegan product, it's perfect for sensitive skin too. I started getting some blemishes after wearing masks, and while this didn't completely eliminate them, my super sensitive skin had no issues with it. I have a fair complexion, but for those with darker skin tones (shade 23 or deeper), it might leave a slightly pale cast. I thought it would be innovative since it's called a serum, but apart from the new application experience compared to tube types, there's not much difference. I expected a lighter texture, but it feels no different from a regular cream. It stings my eyes a bit when applied. It also feels quite heavy on the skin and tends to settle into wrinkles quite noticeably. It seems you need a solid skincare routine as a base. This might be best used lightly on its own. If you apply makeup over it, your skin feels too suffocated.
