The texture has a slight viscosity between a water-based toner and an essence, and I've been using it instead of a toner. (For those with extremely oily skin, you can also apply it after the water-based toner in the summer) I didn't feel any stinging or heat sensation even when applying it directly to my bare face. I was worried that vitamin products often have an irritating effect, but this one seems to have less of that, which I'm pleased about. It absorbs quickly and leaves a refreshing finish, and there's no pilling or clumping when I apply other moisturizers on top. As someone with dry, atopic skin, I'm very thorough with moisturizing, even in the summer, and I find this to be a great first step product that doesn't interfere with my other products. As for the whitening effect, I haven't noticed it clearly yet since I've only been using it for a short time. I plan to use it consistently for over a month! I'm sure my complexion will gradually brighten with continued use.
ConsNow that I look at the price, it's... Unless you're a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I think I'd hesitate to purchase it directly considering the volume and price point. And while it's fine right after application, it does feel a bit drying and tightening after a little while (this may just be me though).
TipIt's best to apply this generously as the first step in your skincare routine, preferably in the evening rather than the morning.

When I first applied it, it felt a bit stingy, but as I continued using it, I got used to it~It's not painful at all. The watery texture doesn't drip down, so there was no discomfort when applying it. The scent is close to unscented, but it has a faint refreshing aroma, so I don't think there will be any aversion to the fragrance! Some vitamin C cosmetic products were incredibly irritating, left a yellow tint, and had a terrible smell, but this product doesn't have any of those issues, which I'm glad about. When I use cosmetics that don't suit me, trouble pops up right away, but since this product is gentle, there were no trouble issues. My skin texture also seems to be finely smoothed out, and it has a subtle glow~~ I think it will be good to use lightly during the summer.
ConsEven though it's called a whitening serum, I haven't felt my skin getting brighter yet. And when it dries, my skin feels very tight ㅠㅠ For those with dry skin, this product might be too lightweight.
TipIt's worth buying when it's on sale!
