The amount of toner soaked into each pad is generous! Unlike many toner pads that can irritate the skin and fail to even out texture due to insufficient product, this one stands out positively in that regard. 2. The pads are splittable. In other words, you can tear the circular pad into two semicircles, perfect for placing on areas like the nose or chin as a toner mask. I found this feature incredibly useful. For those who find rubbing toner pads too harsh on their skin, using them as a mask could be a great alternative, making this product highly recommendable. 3. Each pad has dual textures - one side is embossed, while the other is smooth. The embossed side is ideal for those looking to exfoliate and refine skin texture, while the smooth side works well for those wanting to use it as a toner mask. 4. The packaging is impressively practical. The inner lid includes tweezers and a structure to hold them, and the container itself is sturdy. This design allows for hygienic use.
Cons1. The pads are quite small! This might vary depending on face size, but personally, when trying to use them as a mask, I found the semicircle size to be awkwardly small. Those with smaller faces might find them adequate, though. 2. When you first open the container, there's a slightly artificial, construction site-like smell. It's that unpleasant chemical product odor. Fortunately, this dissipates once you take the pads out to use, but those sensitive to scents might find it off-putting. 3. I received this product for free as part of The Hwahae Testers program, but when I came to write this review, I noticed the price is quite high. There seem to be many similar or even better products available at more affordable prices, so I don't have any intention to repurchase.

Initially, I was a bit disappointed as the amount of toner seemed less than expected when I first opened it. However, the pads themselves are generously soaked, so there's absolutely no issue with usage. In fact, I'm quite satisfied with how well it combats deep dryness, even in this cold and dry weather. The pads are quite thick, allowing them to stay moist for 3-5 minutes when applied, which is great. Plus, their thickness makes them excellent for exfoliating dead skin cells! I find I can gently wipe my face without any discomfort, making it easy to exfoliate regularly. Overall, it seems like an ideal pad for winter use. I highly recommend it for exfoliating and replenishing moisture, especially when your skin gets rough and flaky during seasonal changes!
ConsThe reason I deducted one star is because of the scent. It's a mix of silicone and herbal smells, which was a bit off-putting at first. After using it for a week or two, I did get used to it. Given its effectiveness, I just think of it as part of the therapy now. The toner itself seems quite gentle, and if the scent is due to natural ingredients, well, I suppose that's unavoidable. However, those who are sensitive to smells might find it a bit unpleasant.
TipAfter washing my face, I leave it on for about 3 minutes, then use it to gently exfoliate by wiping my face. Afterwards, I apply an emulsion cream or similar product.

When used pre-makeup, it noticeably improved my skin texture, making my makeup go on much more smoothly! Also, the coolness of the pads was great for calming my skin.
ConsThe biggest drawback was the scent. It had a chemical smell that made me wonder if it was actually safe to apply to my skin - that's how unpleasant the fragrance was. You do get used to it eventually, though. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found it wasn't incredibly hydrating and left my skin feeling a bit dry. I imagine those with dry skin might experience some deep dryness.

I really appreciate the hygienic design with the built-in tongs inside the lid. Another great feature is that the pads can be split in half, making it convenient for targeted application on areas like the nose and chin during toner pack sessions. This is perfect for someone like me who frequently does toner packs! Plus, the gentle exfoliating ingredients allow for a mild peeling effect, which is an added bonus!
ConsAs for the downsides, you might notice, as others have, that the scent is quite polarizing. To put it kindly, it's floral, but less charitably, it has a slight plastic smell. I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, so I can overlook it. Also, while the pads seem to contain plenty of essence, there's a nagging feeling that it's somehow not quite enough. Perhaps it evaporates too quickly?
TipAs someone with sensitive combination dehydrated skin that's been particularly dry lately, I've noticed some dead skin cells and small bumps on my cheeks and chin. My routine involves leaving the pad on these areas for about 3 minutes like a mask, then gently wiping my entire face. Afterward, I apply a thin layer of a hydrating toner by hand, followed by the rest of my skincare routine. This creates a perfect base for makeup that doesn't look cakey. It's my go-to method for days when I want my makeup to look flawless!
