As the weather turned dry, my makeup started to look patchy, and my usual skincare products weren't addressing my deep dryness. That's when I decided to try this product. I applied it before my moisturizer, and while I didn't notice much difference on the first day, after about a week, I felt less deep dryness. It's also great to use in the morning before makeup - if I put on the pad for a bit, it reduces facial heat and puffiness, making it easier to apply makeup.

If you have sensitive skin, I'd recommend doing a patch test before using this product.

However, it seemed my skin didn't agree with it. I felt a slight roughness, and immediately after use, I experienced some tingling and irritation. Interestingly, when my boyfriend tried it, he loved it. This made me think it might be a bit harsh for those with super sensitive skin.

I was really impressed with the sleek packaging. Unlike other toner pads that come with small plastic tweezers that end up unhygienically scattered around, this product cleverly designed a storage spot for the tweezers inside the lid - brilliant! The scent and texture were perfectly clean and fresh, which I found very satisfying.

For those with thin, super sensitive skin who might find exfoliating toners a bit harsh, I'd recommend using this very gently. Either use it as a mild exfoliating toner or simply press the pad onto your skin. If you're using it as a soothing mask, the uncovered areas might get dry, so gently pat those areas with another pad as needed.

While it's hydrating and cooling, being a toner means that when I leave the pad on areas needing more soothing, other parts of my dry skin feel slightly tight (probably because I have extremely dry skin). So I only leave it on for about 20 minutes before finishing with a moisturizer.

As someone with dry, redness-prone sensitive skin, I'm thrilled that this product is gentle and refreshing without causing any irritation. That's what I love most about it. When I leave it on like a mask on areas needing extra soothing, it noticeably calms the redness. I've been using it for about a week now, and I'm quite satisfied.

There are no downsides! If you're considering these, I highly recommend them!

The size is similar to other pads on the market. What sets them apart is the perforated line that allows you to easily split them in half. This makes them versatile for use on the whole face or specific areas.

⭐️Irritation:
I was relieved to find that none of the 20 caution ingredients were present! The embossed part was pleasantly thick, and the overall texture was so soft that there was no irritation. Although I don't have sensitive skin, I used it with satisfaction!

⭐️Convenience:
The pad container comes with built-in tweezers, which was incredibly convenient. As mentioned earlier, the perforated line made these pads stand out in terms of ease of use.

⭐️Scent:
There's a slight fragrance, but it's not overpowering. If you're not particularly sensitive to scents, it shouldn't be an issue.

⭐️Effectiveness:
These pads effectively care for pores and dead skin cells, following the skin's texture. They also help refine the skin's surface, making them great for prepping the skin before makeup application.

⭐️Adherence:
Thanks to their hydrating properties, these pads adhered well to the skin.

I'd recommend applying the pad to your face, cutting it in half for smaller areas, and doing a pad mask while you multitask a bit. When you finish by wiping it off, you'll notice how nicely it smooths out your skin texture.

This is just my personal opinion, but I didn't particularly like the scent. It was somewhat bothersome... Also, when cutting along the perforated line, it doesn't tear perfectly cleanly, which is a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything else was fine.

My first impression upon receiving the product was how much I loved the clean and beautiful packaging. It made me even more eager to use it.

As it's a toner pad, it seems to effectively combat deep dryness and keeps the skin hydrated. When my skin feels dry, I apply it and go about my business, then wipe it off at the end - you can really feel the hydration. I didn't experience any irritation or blemishes! I also appreciated how soft the pads were, which seemed to minimize irritation on my face.

What I loved most was the built-in tweezers in the pad container. It's fantastic for hygienic use. Plus, there are plenty of pads, so you can use multiple if needed.

The pads have a perforated line in the middle, which I thought was clever for easily cutting them in half to apply on delicate areas like around the nose.

The scent might be polarizing. To me, it smells like the candies or candles you'd find at a memorial service, which made using it a bit uncomfortable. The hydration level isn't incredibly moisturizing either. After showering and gently rubbing your face with the pad, then applying body emulsion, you might feel the need to quickly follow up with your skincare routine for more moisture.

I had sebum buildup on my nose, and instead of using cleansing oil to dissolve it, I wiped it with these pads for about two days. Surprisingly, a lot of the sebum disappeared! While it wasn't as clean as using cleansing oil, I was amazed to see that the visible, larger sebum plugs were gone. The pads have a center cut line, making them easy to tear in half and use on areas like under the eyes or cheeks. Plus, there's a built-in tweezer in the container, allowing for hygienic use.

1. The pads are quite small! This might vary depending on face size, but personally, when trying to use them as a mask, I found the semicircle size to be awkwardly small. Those with smaller faces might find them adequate, though.

2. When you first open the container, there's a slightly artificial, construction site-like smell. It's that unpleasant chemical product odor. Fortunately, this dissipates once you take the pads out to use, but those sensitive to scents might find it off-putting.

3. I received this product for free as part of The Hwahae Testers program, but when I came to write this review, I noticed the price is quite high. There seem to be many similar or even better products available at more affordable prices, so I don't have any intention to repurchase.

2. The pads are splittable. In other words, you can tear the circular pad into two semicircles, perfect for placing on areas like the nose or chin as a toner mask. I found this feature incredibly useful. For those who find rubbing toner pads too harsh on their skin, using them as a mask could be a great alternative, making this product highly recommendable.

3. Each pad has dual textures - one side is embossed, while the other is smooth. The embossed side is ideal for those looking to exfoliate and refine skin texture, while the smooth side works well for those wanting to use it as a toner mask.

4. The packaging is impressively practical. The inner lid includes tweezers and a structure to hold them, and the container itself is sturdy. This design allows for hygienic use.

I wish there was a bit more solution in each pad. Those with super sensitive skin might find the texture of the pad a bit rough.

The 4th generation LHA helps effectively remove dead skin cells. As someone with oily skin, I was pleased to see how well it refined my skin texture. The pad has two sides - one embossed and one smooth - allowing for versatile use. When used in the morning before makeup, it noticeably improves makeup application. It's so satisfying to see all the dirt it removes! The perforated line in the middle makes it easy to clean around the nose, and it could even work well as a skin pack.

I was disappointed that the pads weren't saturated enough with toner, making them difficult to apply to the face. While other aspects were fine, the scent upon opening the container was really off-putting. I've continued using it, but I still can't get used to the fragrance. The pad size was smaller than expected, and although they can be torn in half, it was slightly inconvenient when cleansing my face.
