The color payoff is fantastic, and it has great staying power. It seems to work well regardless of your complexion. The tint's lip brush is too blunt and difficult to apply with precision. - je*********Dry SkinAcne SkinOct 29, 2024
The color is beautiful, and the brush tip makes it easy to apply. Due to its velvet formula, it severely emphasizes dead skin cells to the point where I can't wear it alone. - rk**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 6, 2024
Among the lip products I've recently purchased, this one truly stood out as satisfying after a long time! It's a bit different from regular lip tints, mainly due to its unique brush. The brush bristles are bundled together in an intriguing round shape. The tint case itself is quite stylish too - a combination of silver and transparent with a matte finish that gives off a subtly hip vibe. (I'll admit, I was partly swayed into buying it because of how pretty the packaging looked!) The color is a slightly deep, enigmatic fig-tinted pink. With proper application control, it's perfectly suitable as a daily lip color without being overwhelming. I've been using only this shade since I bought it - that's how beautiful the color is! The texture is soft and powdery with a blurring effect, making it ideal for application without emphasizing lip lines. You can easily build up the color intensity by applying thin layers, which is why I found myself reaching for it so often. (I'm thrilled to have finally found a lip product I'm truly satisfied with!) There's really nothing I can point out as a downside. I'm using it with complete satisfaction! Since quite a bit of product tends to come out on the tint brush, it's essential to control the amount you use. Personally, I found it works exceptionally well when applied with a silicone lip brush. - sh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedAug 8, 2024
- Color: As a cool-toned person, I was instantly smitten by the swatches on the website. This shade is perfect for cool-toned beauties! It has a subtle plum undertone that's absolutely gorgeous. - Application: The texture is incredibly smooth. Once applied, it slightly fills in lip lines, almost like a primer. It creates this amazing blurred effect - it's truly fascinating! - Longevity: It maintains its initial appearance beautifully. Despite not being a moisturizing formula, it doesn't dry out over time. Just make sure to exfoliate properly, and it stays put wonderfully! - Staining: I absolutely detest when the initial color differs from the stain it leaves behind, but this one stays true to its color. The stain is nearly identical to the initial application. - Texture: This formula can emphasize dead skin cells, so it's crucial to prep your lips beforehand. My routine involves applying a thick layer of Vaseline the night before. In the morning, my lips are plumped up, and I gently remove any flakes with a cotton swab before starting my makeup. - Applicator: While the tip resembles other lip brushes, there's something slightly off about it. It doesn't seem to pair well with this formula. A flat brush might work better. Instead of swiping back and forth, try applying it in one direction or vertically, as you would with a flat brush. Word of caution: Don't use the product straight from the applicator - it's a recipe for disaster! Always tap off the excess and apply a moderate amount for the most beautiful finish. - sh******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 2, 2024
The applicator is soft and velvety. It's easy to apply over the lip line, and it helps the product go on thinner with better adherence. I'm satisfied with how it blurs the fine lines between my lip wrinkles. The texture is truly amazing if you just remove any occasional clumps. It's matte but soft, and doesn't create dead skin cells. When my lips were about to get flaky, applying this tint covered it completely - I'm touched! Plus, it makes my lips look super plump. As Minsco said in her video, it's like 'Photoshop' - that's the perfect description! Those of us with dry, wrinkly lips can rest easy here. This is the most satisfying part. A hydrating matte that doesn't create flakes! The staying power is impressive. I even splashed water on it at the sink, and it stayed put. Of course, it comes off when eating greasy foods, but it fades beautifully. We've all experienced other matte tints that leave a ring around the outside of the lips after eating, which can be embarrassing. This one fades naturally and evenly. The downside is that if you apply too much at once, it can clump together. You need to control the amount well. It's also slightly disappointing that product gets on the opening of the tube. If you only apply it to the center of your lips, the blurring effect can look unnatural, so it's best to swipe it across your entire lips once. This creates a perfect blurring coating that makes your lips look plump and moisturized. The brush might feel a bit unfamiliar at first, but once you get used to it, there's no better applicator. It's worth going through an adjustment period! - na**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 8, 2024
The way it applies is truly remarkable - it feels like it's clinging perfectly to my skin. I think I need to collect more shades! I should probably get a brighter, more intense color next time. It's a bit disappointing as this shade doesn't quite suit my complexion (which has yellow undertones). The size is about the same as a cotton swab. - ye*******Combination SkinAtopic SkinDec 20, 2023
The color is truly beautiful. It's a perfect cool tone shade. The saturation starts off low when applied, but it gradually brightens to give a magenta-like effect. The staying power is practically non-existent. It smudges and transfers everywhere. I thought the brush-like applicator tip would make it easy to apply, but it's actually more challenging to use than expected. - ye*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 2, 2023
✔️ Color I thought it would be a bit brighter than expected, but the color is almost identical to what's shown in the product details. When viewed separately, the color saturation is more intense than the 'Odd Type Unseen Mirror Tint 565 Holzzak'! * The second photo shows it used together with 'Odd Type New Rules Lip Liner 732 D-Day'! ✔️ Application It applies more stiffly compared to the Unseen Mirror Tint. I guess that's to be expected since this is a velvet formula... I understand now why people say it's difficult to control the amount even with the brush. One way or another, you end up having to use your fingers or another brush. In comparison, I felt the Unseen Mirror Tint was easier to control the amount! It doesn't feel clumpy, you know? ✔️ Cracks...? From the moment I first opened it after delivery, the outer appearance of the container looked empty in places, as shown in the photo. I was even suspicious if it contained the correct amount. It didn't look good on the outside... I was about to leave an inquiry when I saw on the product description page that 'Bubbles, color bands, and cracks may occur during the production process, but this is not a product defect, so please use it with peace of mind.' I felt both relieved and disappointed. So this is normal - I realized they're preemptively explaining that they can't make it more precisely, and it felt like the quality wasn't quite what I had expected! ✔️ Repurchase? Compared to the Unseen Mirror Tint, there are many more colors I want to buy because of the wider variety! However, the application is a bit disappointing compared to what I expected, so I might consider purchasing it 'if it's on sale' (I prefer the Unseen Mirror Tint... please make more colors for that one!)
