The best thing about it is that it's not sticky at all. The scent is refreshing and gentle, making it a pleasure to apply every time. I wish the quantity was a bit more generous. Other than that, no complaints. - ss********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2025
Review after using up the entire product: What I loved: - Absorbs like a dream - No sticky feeling - Perfect for quickly swiping on the back of hands while driving - Great for touch-ups on the face when out and about After testing various sunsticks at Olive Young, I found this one hard to beat in terms of how well it absorbs and its non-sticky texture. Among all the products I've tried, this one stands out. I'm planning to give AHC a shot next, as it seemed the most promising of the bunch. Room for improvement: - The size is slightly larger than a stick foundation, so it runs out quickly - The price point - 26******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedMar 7, 2025
I've been using sunsticks before, but I was curious about the Hera sunstick, so I decided to order it despite the high price. As expected from Hera's sun protection line, I feel confident in its UV protection. The packaging is very slim, clean, and cute. It seems perfect to carry around and use throughout the summer. I ordered it online, but I was a bit disappointed that the promotional package wasn't more generous. It would have been nice if they included a sunscreen sample as a gratis gift. I received the delivery today, just two days after purchasing, but when I opened it, I noticed the manufacturing date was quite a while ago, leaving not much time before expiration. I wonder if it's not very popular... Maybe that's why they have a lot of stock piled up... - a0**********Oily SkinAcne SkinSep 26, 2024
The ingredients are excellent, and above all, the way it absorbs is top-notch. Plus, Hera's signature packaging aesthetic is absolutely delightful. For those with oily skin, the level of shine is almost unusable. Ladies might describe this as dewy or glowy, but from the perspective of a man with oily skin, it feels like you've doused yourself in cooking oil. I received it as a gift, so I'm reluctant to toss it out and keep using it. But now, my skincare routine ends with an extra step of blotting papers after applying this suncare product. - rk********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 12, 2024
This product has been a summer staple for me. My routine always includes applying this after skincare and before cushion foundation. The best thing about this sunstick is that it doesn't feel sticky at all - it leaves a nice, matte finish. That makes it so pleasant to apply. And talk about quick application - it literally takes 5 seconds! It's so much more convenient than cream sunscreens. Top it off with great UV protection, and you've got a winner. A sunscreen that's matte, ultra-fast to apply, and offers excellent sun protection? It's absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended! The amount you get for the price is quite small... I'd say that's its biggest drawback. But despite that, I'm very likely to repurchase! I applied this sunstick after my skincare routine and before my cushion foundation, and the cushion went on beautifully over it. - bo*********Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 29, 2024
It applies thinly and lightly, which is absolutely fantastic. My mom usually can't wear sunscreen due to eye irritation, but since this is a stick form, it stays put nicely. It's solved her eye discomfort issue, making it super convenient. There's hardly any scent, and being a stick, it doesn't leave residue on your hands. It's so easy to use that even people who normally skip sunscreen might love it. The amount is a bit on the smaller side. It's a small but precious quantity. However, it's great for carrying around with you. - al******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedMay 2, 2024
I've been using this sun balm consistently since last summer. You can see how much is left - that's how much of my true love it's been receiving! As someone with dry skin, I really appreciate how it provides just the right balance of moisture and oil, keeping my skin hydrated without feeling greasy. I absolutely adore the refreshing cucumber scent too! I always apply it before my cushion foundation, and it's so easy to reapply. I'll definitely keep using this as part of my daily routine. As mentioned earlier, it has a fresh, cool cucumber scent, so those who dislike cucumbers might want to pass on this one. Also, the amount is a bit on the small side. It runs out quite quickly, so that's something to keep in mind. I especially love applying it generously under my eyes. It helps cover fine lines and keeps the area from getting dry. - Hwahae UserDry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresMay 1, 2024
It's great for applying smoothly without getting your hands messy, and its small size makes it convenient to carry. I have dry skin, and while I'm not sure if it's the oil or moisture content, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. However, it does make my face quite shiny. Due to its smaller size compared to regular sunscreen sticks, it can be a bit annoying to apply. You need to work your hands twice as hard as with other sunscreen sticks. Although it applies smoothly without leaving a white cast, it stings my eyes a little. My face also gets quite shiny, so I'm planning to use it daily, reapplying everywhere except around the eyes. - ha*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2024
I loved how simple it was to use and how gentle it felt on my skin! If I remember correctly, the scent was also pleasantly neutral. It has a slightly sticky texture. Because of that, I found myself not using it much and eventually switched to a different product. - po********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 16, 2023
• The sunstick has a unique silky texture without the typical white cast or greasy coating feeling! I've used several sunsticks before, but they often left an opaque residue, pilled due to their overly silky formula, or felt excessively oily. This one, however, glides on smoothly, leaving a fresh, moisturizing balm-like sensation. It didn't clog my pores or cause any blemishes where applied. • It's convenient to apply. I found it particularly good for targeted protection around the eye area. I'm currently using it to protect a healing wound, and it's great for quick, targeted sun protection. • The white case is pretty, so I don't feel self-conscious when taking it out to reapply in public. The packaging is lightweight and attractive! The case might be a bit flimsy... When opening the cap, the twisting part comes up along with it. It's hard to explain, but imagine how a lip balm twists up - the entire inner tube comes up here. Apart from the case issue, I didn't find any other drawbacks!
