They're too oily, so my face can't handle it -> it further stimulates oil secretion -> super-fast acne generation, that's what happens.. Luckily, that's the best-case scenario, as some days I'd apply it and soon after feel a stinging sensation, and when I cleansed my face, it would be reddened as well. When I used popular products from AHC and Banila Co., both had the same effect on me. It's been a long time, but the memories are still vivid. I've gone on quite a tangent, but anyway, this particular product didn't cause any of those issues when I applied it repeatedly on my face. It glides on smoothly, but the oiliness is significantly reduced. As soon as I apply it, there's a non-greasy, organic sunscreen feel, and after some time, it absorbs nicely. I didn't even experience any eye irritation.
Cons1. A slender, elongated rectangular or oval shape would probably be better for quick, smooth application. The round shape of this product requires more manual effort to apply. 2. While I mentioned the reduced oiliness, as an organic sunscreen stick, it's not completely oil-free. It's still less greasy than the sunscreen sticks I've used before. But based on my preference for a more matte, powder-like, and set finish, these days I've been applying it to my neck area instead of my face. I think this product would pair really well with the black cushion foundation from the same brand.
