After struggling to find one that worked for me, I decided to give Green Finger a shot. I bought both the Mild and Watery Essence versions, so I'll compare them for you. Let's start with the Watery Essence. It absorbs well, but unfortunately, it stings my eyes quite badly. I know it's common with organic filters, but I wasn't expecting it to be so intense - I was in tears! If you have sensitive eyes, you might want to skip this one. The scent is also a bit rubbery, which I'm not a fan of. The texture is like a true emulsion, which makes it easy to apply, but it left me wondering if it was actually providing enough protection. As for the Mild version, I bought it for makeup-free days and workouts since it's a mineral sunscreen. It does leave a white cast and can feel a bit dry, especially for my dry skin. It might be better suited for those with oily skin. If you have dry skin like me, you'll need to layer on plenty of hydration underneath. Again, I wasn't keen on the scent.
ConsMay be too drying for dry skin types - better suited for oily skin. If you have dry skin, make sure to apply a rich moisturizer underneath. The scent is a bit rubbery, which I personally didn't enjoy.
TipIf I had to recommend one between the Mild and Watery Essence, I'd go with the Mild version. While the Watery Essence absorbs well, the eye irritation might be too much for those with sensitive eyes. The Mild version can be a bit drying, but with a good moisturizer underneath, it works well for makeup-free days or when heading to the gym.
