It absorbs well, and has a subtle woody scent, almost like a sauna. While this fragrance might be divisive, I'm a fan. It's a mineral sunscreen that I've genuinely enjoyed using after a long time.
ConsAs expected with mineral sunscreens, my skin does tend to feel dry as time passes.
TipFor best results, apply a moderate amount of sunscreen to your skin and gently pat it in. This technique enhances its ability to adhere to your skin, improving its effectiveness.

The brightening effect is lovely, and it absorbs well! The price was also quite affordable!
ConsIt feels moisturizing when you first apply it, but after a short while, my skin feels dry and the product starts to pill. I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin.
TipMixing it with a bit of facial oil helps improve the application!

It's fragrance-free and passed low-irritation tests, so even those with sensitive skin can use it with confidence. This sunscreen is perfect for the whole family, from kids to adults!
ConsI honestly can't think of any downsides! I really appreciated how gentle it was on my skin.

Unlike some sunscreens that can cause breakouts, this one didn't give me any trouble.
ConsThe size is a bit awkward. 50ml would be perfect for carrying around, while 100ml would be great for generous application on the body.

It feels like it's hugging my skin.
ConsAfter about 3 hours, my face started to itch and became red in various spots, so it's a no-go. Why, oh why did it do this to me? It's too much.

First off, the sun cushion is great for touch-ups when you're out and about, and the color is really pretty. The watery one is a chemical sunscreen, and true to its name, it has a hydrating texture that applies smoothly like the emulsion. However, it can sting the eyes a bit, so be careful when applying around the eye area. Remember, chemical sunscreens need about 30 minutes to become effective, so make sure to apply it well before heading out! The mild version is a mineral sunscreen with a slight white cast, making it good for wearing alone or when you need to head out quickly. The texture is thicker than the watery version, and while it's not the easiest to apply, it does leave a slightly powdery finish.
ConsDrawbacks of the Mild Sunscreen: • The white cast might not be everyone's cup of tea • It doesn't apply as smoothly as the watery version • May cause pilling when used under makeup

The way it absorbs is also great.
ConsSince it's a sunscreen, I felt it was more rich compared to other products.

After struggling to find one that worked for me, I decided to give Green Finger a shot. I bought both the Mild and Watery Essence versions, so I'll compare them for you. Let's start with the Watery Essence. It absorbs well, but unfortunately, it stings my eyes quite badly. I know it's common with organic filters, but I wasn't expecting it to be so intense - I was in tears! If you have sensitive eyes, you might want to skip this one. The scent is also a bit rubbery, which I'm not a fan of. The texture is like a true emulsion, which makes it easy to apply, but it left me wondering if it was actually providing enough protection. As for the Mild version, I bought it for makeup-free days and workouts since it's a mineral sunscreen. It does leave a white cast and can feel a bit dry, especially for my dry skin. It might be better suited for those with oily skin. If you have dry skin like me, you'll need to layer on plenty of hydration underneath. Again, I wasn't keen on the scent.
ConsMay be too drying for dry skin types - better suited for oily skin. If you have dry skin, make sure to apply a rich moisturizer underneath. The scent is a bit rubbery, which I personally didn't enjoy.
TipIf I had to recommend one between the Mild and Watery Essence, I'd go with the Mild version. While the Watery Essence absorbs well, the eye irritation might be too much for those with sensitive eyes. The Mild version can be a bit drying, but with a good moisturizer underneath, it works well for makeup-free days or when heading to the gym.
