The color is not overpowering, making it perfect for daily use. The lips remain moisturized and there is no emphasis on flaky skin. The durability is not very long, so you have to reapply it frequently. The price range is a bit on the higher side. Before applying matte lip products, applying a base layer helps to express a clean look without emphasizing flaky skin. It also nicely provides a natural glow on bare skin.

I've always recommended the Rosewood shade to everyone around me and carried it daily. This time, I decided to switch it up and try 009 Intense Rosewood! The original Rosewood has a shimmering gold pearl, reminiscent of NARS Sex Appeal. The Intense Rosewood, however, is more concentrated in color and has an enamel-like finish without the pearl. Do I even need to mention the hydrating power of the Maximizer? When I was sick with a cold, my lips were dry, peeling, and in terrible condition - even bleeding from accidentally picking at them. But applying this instantly healed everything! I even recommend this to friends getting nose surgery, as it tends to dry out your mouth. Both shades are just... absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend testing them out when you're at the department store! When applied, it has a plumping effect! It softens dead skin cells, calming any flaky bits, resulting in baby-soft lips! The price tag of this luxury brand product is quite steep, and it seems to keep increasing! However, I truly believe it lives up to its name. Even though my hand trembles every time I make a purchase, it's an absolute must-have in my makeup bag that I can't give up! The Intense Rosewood has a bit more color, so it looks most beautiful when applied in a gradient for a solo lip look. The plumping effect was personally amazing for me! It does make your lips tingle, but it's not uncomfortable for more than a day or so. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the color showed up on my lips. It looks beautiful even when applied on its own! Your lips will look absolutely luscious and juicy! I was a bit disappointed that the color fades away quickly. The shade seems to disappear after just a short while, which is a shame. It looks beautiful when applied by gently pressing with your lips after layering. The shine is gorgeous. Somehow it looks even prettier if you don't rub your lips together after application, just leave it be. Applying this makes my lips feel incredibly comfortable. My lips are usually sensitive, with dead skin cells appearing and dryness setting in when I use other lip products. But since using this, those issues have disappeared, and my lips stay moisturized all day long. It's so soothing! I'm planning to try other shades once I finish this one. If I had to point out a downside, it would be the staying power. However, it's not a big issue since you can reapply it multiple times or layer it with other lip products.

I absolutely adore this! The color is incredibly beautiful. I received it as a birthday gift, and honestly, it's beyond words... This Dior line is truly stunning. It has subtle sparkles, so when applied, it gives a lovely, soft glow. First off, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous... I was torn between this shade and rosewood, but ultimately chose this one as it suited me better! The deep undertone muted to soft color looked so pretty when applied. To be honest, I didn't feel the need to blot it much. I also loved that the scent wasn't too overpowering! When applied to the lips, it feels a bit heavy and the staying power is slightly disappointing.
