At first, I was really impressed - it wasn't too hard and didn't apply too thickly, which was great... However, after using it a few times, the product started to soften and crumble off in chunks. It's not that it melts and runs, but rather it collapses into a mushy texture. It falls off in little clumps onto my lips... So frustrating! I've tried keeping it in the fridge and using it occasionally, but I don't want to go through all this trouble just to use a lip balm. I'm planning to throw it away. Just don't buy it. I love that it's not overly cooling. The hydration is insane! When you apply it, it feels like you've slapped on a primer. It magically smooths out lip lines, leaving your lips silky smooth without any shine - it actually has more of a matte finish. The accessibility is terrible, absolutely terrible. I loved the cooling effect and how it leaves my lips feeling soft and matte. The biggest advantage is that it's not sticky at all. After using this lip balm, my lips swelled up terribly. Since all the reviews were positive, I didn't realize it was a problem and kept reapplying when my lips got puffy and cracked, which made things worse. I ended up going to the dermatologist, taking medication, and switching to Vaseline instead of lip balm. It took a week to heal. I guess this lip balm just doesn't agree with me - just something to keep in mind. As a cooling enthusiast, I thought this would be an excellent product for me. While it does provide a refreshing sensation when applied, the moisturizing effect is just average. Now I'm using it on areas where I want a cooling effect, rather than just on my lips. It's true that it feels cool immediately upon application, but the problem arises a little while after. I bought O'Keeffe's foot cream and received this as a free gift. Surprisingly, the foot cream was just okay, but this is the real holy grail! It has a thick texture that builds up on the lips, keeping them moisturized until morning. It's also perfect for exfoliating dead skin cells. My lips are extremely dry, so I've tried all sorts of lip balms claiming to be the best, but this is one of the few I've actually repurchased. I wish they'd release it at Olive Young! It feels light and fresh without any stickiness. There's a nice cooling effect and a sweet flavor. The hydration is quite disappointing. After using a squeeze-tube lip balm, this one feels lacking.
