The glow is beautifully expressed and has a strong presence, which I love. Everything is great, but it's a bit disappointing that the price is higher compared to other products. - ki****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 19, 2025
Just buy it please.. Honestly, I thought the Hwahae highlighter would be a bit too shiny, but it doesn't seem as over-the-top as I expected! But it's really just so beautifully natural yet with a definite presence!! In the last photo, it's the only thing visible in the dark, so I'm so, so satisfied. My nose is really, really low to begin with, as you can see in the first photo, but this highlighter makes it look a bit more prominent, which I love. It's like a CPR for my flat nose!!!!!!😍😍 The second photo is how it looked when I first swatched it, and the last photo is 13 hours later on a hot, humid summer day, and while the rest of my makeup had worn off, the highlighter was still going strong, which I was so pleasantly surprised by. Well, if I had to say, it seems to be the price. It's a bit expensive, but once you apply it, I'm sure the price will be justified. You really should only apply a small amount!! Otherwise, your face may appear unnaturally prominent. - na******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 9, 2025
Absolutely love it! Ever since discovering Ofra Hara, I've been using only Ofra. The glow is incredibly beautiful, like a delicious treat for your skin. It's gorgeous, with a slightly transparent and whitish radiance. The durability is terrible. Drop it once, and it shatters completely. The case is too angular and unattractive, easily getting scratched on the outside. For shades 21-22, applying too much can make your nose look white. After this, I bought Rodeo Drive, which is truly amazing. Dabbing a bit of this on top of Rodeo gives you a real, show-stopping glow. - ch*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 29, 2025
This color would look beautiful on most complexions! The shimmer really pops and it's gorgeous. The color might be more noticeable on very fair skin tones. - su*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 23, 2025
The perfect companion for contouring to create a naturally sculpted face - highlighter! 1. Peppermint: A pink pearl-based highlighter that works well for both warm and cool skin tones! While it might not suit very warm tones that don't take to pink, for warm-toned folks like me who can wear pink if the brightness is right, this highlighter is not intimidating to try. While it requires some control in application, it's incredibly soft and gives a brilliant glow with just a light touch. True to its 'mini' name, it's also convenient to carry. I strongly recommend this product to those looking for a portable highlighter. Pro tip: I found it easier to control the application by using my fingers for the nose bridge and a brush for other areas. While there are no significant drawbacks, the intense glow might not appeal to those who prefer a subtle radiance. - ab*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2025
As a beauty junkie who absolutely adores highlighters, I rushed to Olive Young to swatch this in person. The glow was so insane that I immediately purchased it. For some reason, though, while the glow looked amazing in-store, I was a bit taken aback when I tried it again at home - it didn't quite live up to my initial excitement. I don't own or have experience with all the famous highlighters out there, but I'll compare it to the ones I do have. My collection includes 2NE1, Colorgram, Lilybyred, CLIO, and OFRA. Among these, CLIO seems to be the closest competitor, so I'll focus on comparing with that one (I personally prefer intense glow, and CLIO has the best glow among my collection, so I'm not including the others in this comparison). Speaking specifically about Peppermint! Personally, I agree with what everyone's saying - it definitely has that metallic sheen. When applied to the nose, it gives more of a metallic glow rather than a glass-like or Vaseline-like shine. However, when applied to the cheeks, it doesn't look metallic at all, instead giving a natural glow that's softer than a Vaseline-like finish! OFRA has a powdery texture, and you can really feel how fine the powder is. The glitter particles in OFRA are incredibly fine overall. CLIO has a smooth, velvety feel, while OFRA feels drier - that's the main difference. Honestly, considering the price, I don't feel there's a huge difference between Peppermint and CLIO. Of course, if you apply them side by side, OFRA's glow is better, but it's not a noticeable difference that would draw attention. This is just for Peppermint though, I can't speak for the other shades! I'm not an extreme beauty junkie, but for those looking for a decent highlighter that's good value for money, CLIO seems pretty nice too! Of course, it's always best to compare in person, as there are slight differences in the glow. The reason CLIO has a more sparkly glow is because its particles are larger than OFRA's! OFRA gives more of a matte glow, and what's impressive is how it achieves such a glow with such fine particles - it's truly in a league of its own. The fine particles also mean it adheres to the skin incredibly well. You can really understand what good adherence means with this product. Usually, as time passes, glitter tends to separate due to facial oils, but this didn't happen with OFRA, which was amazing. The fine particles also mean the color payoff is intense. Lilybyred also has a matte glow with fine particles, and while matte finishes inevitably have less glow, it's impressive how its glow is similar to CLIO's despite the larger particles. And when applied to the cheeks, it gives such a natural, luxurious glow! You can't see any traces of glitter, just a beautifully natural and pretty glow! The price is really too high... Personally, I don't think it's bad, but it doesn't feel significantly different from CLIO considering the price difference...? Of course, OFRA has better adherence and a bit more glow, but CLIO holds its own, and given the considerable price gap, it feels a bit unnecessary... However, since the type of glow is different, I'd recommend comparing the two in person before making a purchase! Personally, I felt like the color payoff was better when applied with fingers! - cd******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2025
It's incredibly glamorous with a striking presence. Those who dislike noticeable highlighters might want to steer clear. When applied to the inner corners of the eyes, it's absolutely top-notch and gorgeous. I took photos comparing it to similar products, and Peppermint has a lovely rose gold tint. Perhaps that's why it looks like beautiful pearls when applied to the nose. Since it requires a base, you might be better off buying the Glazed Donut version. It can settle into pores. Apply it over pore-covering makeup for a beautiful glow + be sure to control the amount used. - sa*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 13, 2025
The champagne gold hue is perfect for cool-toned skin. While it's a versatile shade, the pigmentation is so intense that I'll probably use just a tiny amount for everyday wear (especially on the nose). It's quite glamorous, which is great for photos, but might be a bit much for daily use. I recommend applying a small amount on the nose and the inner corners of the eyes. - eo*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 21, 2024
The color payoff is incredible, and when applied, it gives your nose a luminous glow like a pearl has been set into it As a beginner in highlighters, I find the shimmer particles a bit large, so controlling the amount applied is essential If you look carefully, you can find it for just over $20 I recommend buying it when you spot that price - oi****Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 25, 2024
I'm not usually one for highlighters, but this one changed the game for me. Despite collecting high-end brands like Chanel, Dior, and Stila, I never used them after initial tests. This highlighter, though, with its intense metallic finish and vibrant color payoff, just clicked. Now, I can't imagine doing my makeup without it. On my skin (lighter than shade 13), it appears as a neutral gold, slightly warmer than champagne. I typically go for a fresh, dewy look, and this highlighter delivers a photoshop-like glow wherever I apply it. The radiance it imparts isn't overwhelming at all for me. It's made me realize just how crucial highlighting is for enhancing facial contours. Highly recommended! On a day I wore this and nailed my makeup, my boyfriend went into a frenzy, saying I've always been beautiful, but that day I was the most stunning he'd ever seen me. He rambled about how everyone must be noticing me and how the air feels different when I'm around. It was quite the compliment overload! I felt like I'd hit my peak attractiveness, and this highlighter makes me look almost doll-like. Can't recommend it enough! This product introduced me to Hera. However, if you have large pores, you might struggle to use this without powder. These metallic formulas tend to emphasize pores dramatically. Make sure to use a powder or primer first, then apply this product by gently patting it on to fill in any texture.
