I had no idea Shiseido made hair products, but it seems to be a high-end line used in salons too. The product has separate oil and water layers, so you need to shake it before use. It has a very light texture that absorbs quickly and feels weightless on the hair. While it can be used on both wet and dry hair, I felt it lacked nourishment on its own. So, I apply a thicker oil to wet hair, dry it, and then use this product as a final coating. It adds shine and helps tame frizz, which I really like. The scent is a deep floral that lingers subtly when you move your hair, which I found pleasant. The Sublimic line is quite pricey, making it hard to justify the purchase. I managed to buy it for around $29 with a 20% luxury edit coupon from Olive Young during the year-end sale, but it usually costs in the high $30 range even with discounts. Due to the alcohol content, there's a strong scent and slight irritation when you first dispense it. I've been using it for about a month now, but I'm not sure if it's really helping my color-treated hair. My hair isn't bleached or dyed a light color, so that might be why, but I tried it hoping to address my dry, brittle hair. Unfortunately, it only seems to add temporary shine, which was disappointing. Also, considering the price, the packaging looks a bit cheap.
