Moisture boost for my thirsty locks! This shampoo hydrates my fine, dry hair (though not miraculously so). Perfect when paired with the treatment and as a setting product! As someone with delicate strands and a hippie perm, I've been using it to maintain my waves, and it's been great. The fragrance is just right - not too strong, not too weak, and seems to last all day! The price is a bit steep. It's a shame, but let's grab it during sales. I wish they'd have more frequent and dramatic discounts. None. The scent is decent, I suppose. My hair was on its way to improving, but then my scalp got totally wrecked. After switching to this shampoo, my scalp went haywire - itchy, irritated, and all sorts of uncomfortable. Unlike other shampoos that made my hair rougher over time, this one has eliminated that issue completely. I love how it doesn't cause any damage. The first time I tried it, it was a whole new world. Just shampooing made a huge difference in my hair texture. For damaged and color-treated hair, there's truly no better product out there. The price...? That's the only downside. My hair is quite damaged and always dry, but this seems to provide deep hydration and help strengthen elasticity. A little goes a long way with rich lather, and it has a lovely fragrance too. I deducted one star from my rating because there are more potentially problematic ingredients than I expected. The formulation is a bit disappointing.
