Most products with good ingredients are unscented, but I prefer ones with fragrance, so the faint rose scent is nice. It claims to be for severely damaged hair, but as a shampoo, I'm not sure if it has a dramatic effect. Since the ingredients are gentle, I can use it on my scalp without any concerns. The hair texture is better with the conditioner! Compared to the Houttuynia shampoo, this one has an opaque white texture that feels more nourishing.
