Noticeable brightening effect It lightens my complexion by about one shade, giving a subtle skin-perfecting feel. There's a distinct pink hue that makes my skin look radiant. 2. Smooth application It glides on effortlessly. 3. Light and comfortable It's neither sticky nor matte, but feels lightweight. It doesn't seem to irritate my skin and feels like I'm wearing nothing at all.
Cons1. Poor longevity It barely lasts, making the area around my nose look unattractive when wearing a mask. After eating, the area around my mouth reveals my original skin tone, creating an unflattering contrast. 2. White cast After some time, a patchy white cast appears, especially noticeable in oily areas like the sides of the nose. 3. Flaking It flakes on dry areas, appearing white. It's absolutely unusable as a makeup base. Applying foundation or cushion over it leaves visible white patches and flaking - not a pretty sight. It can only be used alone, but its poor longevity and white cast make me reluctant to reach for it. 4. Pink undertone While some might love the obvious pink tone it imparts, I find it doesn't blend well with my natural skin tone. It looks somewhat artificial, and I wish the pink was toned down for a more natural look. 5. Settles into wrinkles I can't apply it on my neck at all. I was mortified to find it had settled into my neck wrinkles, leaving white lines hours after application.

The lightweight cream formula glides on smoothly. It feels slightly tacky at first, but once fully absorbed, there's no residue left behind. While it's less matte than other brightening moisturizers, it's not too sticky for summer use, which is great. 2. I love that the brightening effect isn't overpowering. Unlike some other brightening moisturizers that can leave your face looking ghostly white if you're not careful with the amount, this product doesn't have that issue.
Cons1. The brightening effect isn't particularly flattering. Instead of giving a radiant glow, it leaves a slightly grayish cast on the skin. It might work as a base under foundation, but for brightening on its own, it's not ideal. When I used this product alone after my skincare routine, my complexion looked dull. 2. The staying power is poor. After about 4 hours, the brightening effect is barely visible, leaving you with your natural skin tone plus a hint of that grayish tint. 3. It doesn't cleanse off completely with just a foam cleanser, so you'll likely need a second cleansing step. Usually, sunscreens come off easily with just a foam cleanser, but since this doesn't, I'm less inclined to use it regularly.
TipSince it's a brightening moisturizer, you need to be careful when applying it. If not spread evenly, it can clump up and look strange due to its brightening pigments and matte finish. Make sure to apply a thin, even layer for the best results.
