  ■ Overall Impression An excellent pH-balanced cleansing foam for those who respond well to tea tree. ■ Skin Type Combination + Dehydrated + Forehead congestion + T-zone blackheads ■ Reason for Use Tried it after a YouTuber called it their holy grail product. ■ Texture Feels like a clear gel-like consistency. ■ Application Washes off smoothly and gently. It also lathers up nicely. (My mother said it didn't suit her, so she uses something else.)

  □ Scent The distinctive tea tree scent might not be for everyone, so I thought it could be hit or miss. It's much milder than pure tea tree oil though. □ Lid It feels like it doesn't close properly. But when I double-check, it is actually closed. Instead of a satisfying click, you have to use some force to close it with a dull sound. □ Sensitivity (Added 16.04.25) When I used it twice in a row with a compromised skin barrier, it caused irritation. So I'm using a different product these days. It's probably best to avoid using it when your skin is in a sensitive state.

  The tea tree soothing ampoule worked so well for my skin that I decided to try the cleansing foam too. It's incredibly hydrating and gentle, and best of all, my skin doesn't feel dry after cleansing - I'm so happy! The product itself is transparent with a slightly slippery texture, but it rinses off well. It also lathers more than I expected. I highly recommend this to anyone whose skin responds well to tea tree!

  Unless you're doing full glam makeup daily, they say to use gel or milk cleansers instead of oil. So I ordered this Mediheal one that I'd tried a few times as a sample and liked. The foam is rich and creamy, and it has great cleansing effectiveness. I was unsure if a gel would cleanse well, but it's not bad at all.

  Cons

  After using it, my skin feels a bit dry. I usually wash my face first in the shower, and while I'm washing my hair and body afterwards, I can feel deep dryness in my skin.

So, I decided to try this acne-focused, slightly acidic cleanser for my morning routine. Despite its low pH, it produces a rich lather and contains ampoule ingredients, leaving my skin feeling moisturized and soft after cleansing. It's a gentle, non-irritating product that works well for morning cleansing. The tea tree ingredient, known for its antibacterial properties, makes this cleanser particularly suitable for those with oily or acne-prone skin.

  While it seemed fine when I used it only in the mornings, I noticed it didn't cleanse as thoroughly when I tried using it in the evenings too. Even with the tea tree ingredient, its mildly acidic nature means it's not as effective at cleansing as an alkaline cleanser. For acne-prone skin, using this product alone all day isn't enough. It's crucial to use an alkaline cleanser at least once a day. Also, it leaves behind that characteristic slippery feeling of low pH cleansers. While they say these residual ingredients are fine for the skin, many people find it uncomfortable. If you're one of those people, you might not like this. Rinsing thoroughly with water helps, though!
