I'm really satisfied with the puff.
ConsI can't think of any particular downsides, though it does clump a tiny bit.

When I patted it over my beautifully applied foundation, it formed little beads on my skin. I was confused at first, but then... The one positive thing I can say is that the case looks quite trendy.
ConsI regret not just buying the foundation alone. It's not that touch-ups make it look cakey, but rather that touching up is difficult in itself. The product clumps together, making this a disappointing cushion overall.

I've been really satisfied with the Water Velvet Foundation, so I decided to try the cushion version too. I was hesitant because there's no refill, but I bought it when it came out as a mini set! First off, it's quite different from the foundation! The foundation has a velvety semi-matte texture that's easy to apply without much technique and doesn't look cakey. However, this cushion is much more matte than the foundation. It's as powdery and high in powder content as the Laneige Neo Cushion. As a result, it doesn't absorb well and can look patchy... The powder tends to clump, causing an uneven application! It's not suitable for quick pat-pat application when you're in a rush in the morning. You need to apply a very moisturizing base and then use only a tiny amount, patting just once! If you go over the same spot twice with the cushion, it clumps, separates, and settles into lines.... This is the first cushion I've found so difficult to use. I'm planning to try the Glow Cushion next. Interestingly, after some time, it does seem to meld with the skin and the powdery finish disappears... If you apply a solid skincare base and use a very thin layer, wait for it to absorb, and then apply another layer, you can achieve high coverage. It's quite different from the foundation, so I'd recommend it to those with very dry skin who know how to work with it effectively.
ConsThe powder content is really high... It's difficult to apply, and if you're not careful, it can clump, settle into lines, and cause a mess. You absolutely can't pat over the same spot twice... So you really need to know how to use it properly.
