It cracks when layered, and on days when my skin is particularly oily, it gradually disintegrates into powder.

I must have gone through about 20 tubes of this! It's not absolutely smudge-proof, but I haven't found a better product yet, so I keep using it. On days when I apply it cleanly without layering, it barely budges. However, if you layer it, it can crack a bit. Rather than smudging, it tends to fade away into a powder.
