It's on the moisturizing side with a lovely pink hue. Perfect for those with light to fair skin tones! The cushion adheres well to the skin and the compact case is quite pretty too. The coverage is minimal. However, I don't have any other complaints while using it. This cushion foundation seems to focus more on providing a natural, dewy look rather than heavy coverage. It's ideal for those who prefer a light, fresh-faced appearance and don't need to conceal much. The moisturizing formula and attractive packaging are definite pluses, making it a good choice for everyday wear, especially for those with lighter skin tones. - wu*******Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 8, 2025
I've been using this for 3 months and it seems pretty decent. The coverage and adherence are all satisfactory. The best part? It's wonderfully hydrating! I use it for touch-ups, but the shade seems a bit dark. Once when I tried to quickly fix my makeup, it ended up looking really cakey, which was quite shocking! I might have chosen the wrong shade for me (I usually use shade 21 and prefer a bright makeup look). The application isn't particularly smooth, and honestly, it feels like you're paying for the Chanel name more than anything else! - co********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedDec 29, 2024
I tried cheaper alternatives to avoid repurchasing this pricey one, but they just didn't cut it. After going in circles, I'm back to Chanel. It's hydrating, doesn't cause darkening, and leaves my skin looking clear. The only downside is the price. There's nothing else to complain about. They even increased the volume slightly with the recent renewal. - ne******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 9, 2024
I've been using Chanel cushions for what feels like ages. Out of the three, my favorite shade was discontinued, so I switched to Le Beige, which I'd tried a couple of times before. After the recent revamp, it seems the staying power and absorption have improved. It's definitely been upgraded from the previous version. The case is larger now, and it feels like there's more product too! The original Le Beige had a cooling effect that was perfect for light summer use, but this new version is suitable for all seasons. While the cooling effect is gone, the longevity and color payoff seem better. I'm usually prone to blemishes when using cushions, so I don't switch products often. Chanel's cushion has good ingredients too! Highly recommended. There might be some pilling if you apply thick layers of skincare underneath. Also, since the color is a medium tone, I had to use two shades. If you're buying, make sure to test it first. I've finally settled on shade 20. There's nothing particularly special about it. It's best to apply multiple thin layers, allowing time between each application. When you first open it, a lot of product comes out for about a week. Apply it to your face and then pat it in with another puff or sponge, and it absorbs quickly. - vj********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 10, 2024
Achieves a luxurious skin finish. I love that it doesn't feel heavy when applied. The price is wickedly high. They revamped it last year and increased the cushion size. - al********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMar 6, 2024
The coverage is impressive for Chanel, and I love how moisturizing it is. I keep using it consistently. It's quite pricey... I might only buy it at duty-free shops. Can't think of any other downsides. - p_********Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 19, 2024
This cushion has more product than other brands and feels wonderfully hydrating. As someone with extremely dry skin, I've tried almost every cushion that claims to be moisturizing, but this one takes the cake! It keeps my skin looking fresh without any dead skin cells flaking off, and the staying power is impressive! The strong, distinct cosmetic scent is quite overwhelming. It transfers like crazy too - even after hours of wear, it still manages to get on my clothes and pillowcases. And let's talk about that price tag... It's seriously steep. The refill alone costs $74, which is just too much. Unless I get a department store gift card or someone buys it for me, I probably won't be repurchasing this with my own money. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 12, 2024
This foundation feels more hydrating and elastic than Chanel's, making it perfect for winter wear! I absolutely love the mesh applicator above all else. It feels like there's not much product even though I haven't used it much... I'm planning to buy a refill to use it again. - ji***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 9, 2024
The pre-renewal version was great. Although the coverage was lighter, it beautifully filled in skin texture while providing a moisturized, pretty complexion. After the renewal, the coverage has improved. The renewal process has stripped away all the advantages of the previous version. While the coverage has increased, it's visibly thick and makes the skin look unhealthy. The thick application emphasizes skin texture and pores, feels dry, and has no redeeming qualities. It looks like heavy, suffocating makeup reminiscent of 1980s ajumma style. Additionally, the renewed product tends to explode easily, causing leakage (photo attached). The scent has also changed to an unpleasant, metallic odor. Bring back the pre-renewal version! Even drugstore cosmetics these days don't perform this poorly. The best tip is simply not to buy it. - po******Oily SkinSensitive SkinDec 9, 2023
Appearance: Extremely luxurious. The rectangular shape makes it easy to store in a makeup pouch. Sheer coverage. I think this product fails to fulfill its role as a foundation. The coverage, longevity, and ability to create a flawless finish were disappointing.
