The Hwahae products are quite nice, actually. I was surprised that they are quite effective despite being very inexpensive. When you have skin troubles, applying them for about a week can help calm it down. The adhesive is also good, so they don't fall off all day long. Considering the price, they are a good option for students like me. They come in large and small sizes, so you can choose the one that fits the size of your acne. The soothing effect is somewhat minimal. When I used to apply Haeseorin's Red Spot in the past, I felt it subsided within about 3 days, but this one needs to be applied for over a week to calm down. So during the day, I apply this, and at night, I use the acne ointment. I would recommend this to those who want to conceal their acne with spot patches, but also hope for some soothing effect.

Please don't spend a fortune at Olive Young. Try this instead! It really stays put, and it's so thin you can barely tell it's there. The adhesion is far superior to other products that claim to work well on uneven skin. On days when red blemishes popped up, I'd stick these on before school. When I got back, they'd turned yellow, effectively eliminating the pimples right away. That was great! It's disappointing that they fall off after applying skincare products. Also, they don't adhere well to oily skin. Those aspects were a bit frustrating. I was skeptical about these thin, ordinary-looking spot patches at first, but wow... I applied one to a deep, painful blemish that couldn't be popped, and it noticeably calmed down in just one day! This is great for occasional blemishes. When I have a breakout, I tend to touch it, but these patches are effective at calming the blemishes. The size is just right, and they adhere well to the skin. They're so thin that they blend in seamlessly, almost like they're part of my skin. The affordable price means I'll likely use them often.
